NO! IT'S NOT THE RIGHT THING TO DO11

We don't need immigration reform no matter how many sad and "I'm scared" illegals and their activists put in the media.....and believe me when people get caught, they have plenty of reason to be scared. Mexicans will put their children on TV to say "I'm scared and I didn't know I wasn't an American". BOO HOO you MEANIES!! Then why do they speak Spanish, depending on our schools to teach them English and feed them, as their parents talk about grandma back home, then crisscrossing the borders to visit her. Dreamers have lived with parents, family, neighbors not letting cops know where they are, about not letting people know they are from Mexico or where ever they are from, mostly Mexico, to fight for their community, etc. The kids are always put out front in marches and media, to scream and yell for amnesty and what ever free thing the want.

Obama is slapping your face, the face of your children, the face of your parents and grandparents, who strove to make a great America. Why aren't we all ashamed of our president who ignores our laws? We should be.

We need a President who will quit pandering to LaRaza, putting their people in his cabinet, quit funneling money to LaRaza, stop Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor from handing out illegal Tax IDs to illegals, going to college to pander against America and teaching students how to be corrupt and sign into Tax IDs plus what ever else corrupted against this country they can sign into or against. We need a president who isn't supporting only his black people and Mexicans because he promised them amnesty for votes so his intent is to show the world he is a man of his word (cough). Sadly he erases all that by going against our Constitution, our own States and their citizens protection, and ignores our laws while threatening the Supreme Court he is thumbing his nose at them. He also put Sotomayar in as a Supreme Court judge, when everyone knew she should not be allowed because of her background. He didn't stop with her, he has questionable members as Ambassadors and holding offices in the WH. He get's by with it from revolutionary politicians doing favors, most of whom are Mexican or latins who get stuck having to be latin, and desperate old, white, career politicians.

NO, IT'S NOT THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!

I think the president and most of the media is clearly out of touch with the people. They seem to think that when people talk about immigration reform we are talking about granting legal status to illegals. They are wrong! When I say I am worried about immigration reform I am talking about the lack of immigration enforcement and hands off policy. I would think with the outcry across the country against these blanket legalization attempts that the people in Washington would get the picture.

Sen. Rubio announced that President Obama has

and I quote - "poisoned the well".

Well the Senator should know since he dipped into my GOP well for $100,000.00 and already owes 1 million in debt.

And his "Dream Act - Lite" is a nightmare in the making.

This morning I took my Daughter to a local Resturant to apply for a job.

She was handed a disclaimer letter - stating that she must give her permission for a back-ground check.

When I asked -

"What is the purpose?"

And the lady replied - and I quote -

"No background check no job."

So my point - she gave the lady her Social Security number plus her liscense.

And here is the kicker she has to wait two days and they had a waiting line.

And I asked the lady -

"What program do you use?

And she said - and I quote.

"Why - E-verify , Sir!"

And showed me the letter taped to the wall.

The letter said.

And I quote -

"We "use e-verify to do a background check ."

Well I could give you the name of that resturant - but the way the Government works now -a-days-

they would close that resturant in a heart beat.

And I love their coffee.

The president should be doing everything possible to put Americans to work. Overwhelming an already bad situation (too few jobs, high unemployment) with more people (those here illegally) looking for jobs is about as stupid as it comes. Soon their entire extended family will be reunited here - and each one of those people's extended families, etc, and many of them will be looking for jobs. Reunite them all in their homeland!

The parents decided to bring their children here when they themselves came here illegally. Not the child's fault. OK. But that doesn't mean we have to make it right. The parents and the child/children should all go home. It was a risk to come, the child got educated which is what they wanted, now go home and use that education to better your own country.

No risk I ever took had such a safety net. No decision my parents made for me had such a safety net. Why do Illegals get a safety net? They came here with no guarantees. It was a risk. Too bad, so sad. There are consequences for every action and they are not always pleasant. They came with the knowledge and expectation that they may one day have to go back home so send them home.

There are many abuses of our hospitality by Illegals. They have abused every loophole found in our system. This one will be abused as well, and it will only encourage more people to come here illegally and wait out the next courtesy handed out to make Illegals all feel rosey.

People here illegally should not have the same privileges as American and legal citizens. We have allowed ourselves to be bullied into submission and have bent over backwards to make Illegals happy. Why? They are here outside of the law! The shear numbers of them is the reason they are able to bully us. That should be reason enough to stop them.

The only EXECUTIVE ORDERS that should have taken place was to mandate the use of E-Verify across the country, and to cut back immigration numbers until we are back on track economically.

Mr. President, you have failed this country miserably!

I'm all for diversity of opinion but nowhere in this piece, does the writer offer any support for his thesis. His position appears to be: it is unconstitutional because I say so! There is also no disclosure of the qualifications of this person with respect to constitutional law. Accordingly, I find little merit in his opinion, which is nothing more than ideoligically based. NEXT!

Mr. Hanna is dead on. Three years ago Pres. Obama refused to issue an executive order on immigration because he said it would freeze any progress that could be made in Congress, where such policy should be decided. Now, as he tries to shore up votes among the various groups that make up his base, he is jumping on every politically charged bandwagon that any of those groups support.

We are surrounded by a 70 percent Illegal Population. There is no work on the "Western Slope of Colorado" We have their Gang Members, we have Latino Students able to get rid of Police Officers. You cannot walk the streets after dark here because of young Latinos? This makes no sense. Obama make s a great Statement, unfortunately that is all it is? There is no one in Congress or any Cabinet Member that is going to undertake the RESPONSIBILITY OF LOCATING EACH AND EVERY ILLEGAL, DOING A BACKGROUND CHECK AND MAKING SURE THAT ALLOF THEIR PAPERWORK IS LEGAL AND HONEST. THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM, MILLIONS HERE IN THE US. IF YOU ALLOW THOSE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME AN AUTOMATIC CITIZEN, THEN WHAT ABOUT THEIR PARENTS, THEY ARE ALREADY HERE TOO AND THE AUNTS AND UNCLES AND COUSINS. THERE IS NEVER A STOPPING POINT. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO POUR OVER THE BOARDER AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT STUPID. THEY ARE GETTING FREE BIRTHS, FREE FOOD AND FREE HOUSING. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THEY ARE GOING TO WANT ANYTHING LESS.

It was once said they would self-deport. Well we didn't have that many, they all stayed here and lived off of what? They demanded work, but there were to many American Citizens out of work and they received the work. Obama can't carry this out. This Government can't be relied upon to make this work out in any fashion. It will become another mess that nobody wants to take care of . That's why we are int his mess today. All of the other Countries sent their over crowded people to live here.

Unconstitutional!

I think JC Callahan is on the right track when you consider that legal immigrants can sponser family members into the US. That can include more than just the parents that brought them here.
