We talk too much trash. I am Environmental professional and do not see such treats to the Environment, perhaps Ms carluccio should not be driving a vehicle cause its causing Air pollution. America once was the brith place of technnolgy and Innovation and now we are at the bottom of the lake because of people like Ms Carluccio.

People are starting to actively oppose fracking operations.

Has anyone ever looked into ecologically / environmentally safe alternatives to fracturing like terra slicing?

Tracy's arguments are about well drilling, not fracking. If we go along with this argument it will mean ceasing all gas and petroleum production and will prohibit other "green" energy such as geothermal. Its really annoying how people who argue passionately about something can't even work out what it is they are arguing against!

For many years I've been trying to help people obtain clean drinking water. Fracking will compound the contamination of our drinking water beyond anything we've seen to date in New Jersey.

Extracting fossil fuels is a dead end endeavor that is bad for our water and air, bad for our health and bad for an ever allarming climate crisis. In pennsylvania where ecotourism, organic farms, and new solar businesseses were beginning to take hold, the drillers are now coming in and replacing a sustainable economy with one that has been shown time and again to privatize the profits of the corporate drillers and publicize the harm and messes that are left behind. Pennsylvania leaders are missing the boat and not protecting the people from this harmful and extreme fossil fuel industry. Drilling is not safe. It should be banned and we need to invest in truly renewable energy sources and conservation.
