Obama Administration Doesn't Want to Enforce the Immigration Laws

The lawsuit against Arizona's SB 1070 is just another part of the amnesty effort

It is a sad state of affairs when a brilliant law professor tells lawyers every year in a flawless seminar that his predictions of how the S.Ct. will decide a discrimination case are almost always wrong. I cannot perceive whether he is liberal or conservative; but he is an excellent professor that gives practitioners his time free of charge.

Liberals, when it suits them, are in favor of the legal principle of stare decisis: judges should adhere to the decisions of prior judges. They are in favor at present because the activist liberal Justices Black (an ex-KKK member) and Warren (in the 40s-60s) stripped rights away from whites in favor of blacks. My grandfather, very much opposed to integration, refused to join the KKK for obvious reasons: they were murderers.

Immigration law is merely a legacy of the Court’s insistence on anti-discrimination. If you cannot discriminate against a person that is not a citizen, then citizenship means nothing. If you cannot discriminate, law means nothing.

People who live in a world in which facts, logic and matters will see that this Arizona law is more than reasonable. Others will never agree.

Support for continued illegal and legal immigration shows ignorance of environmental, social, and financial limits our country needs to wake up and acknowledge. The political machine's main concern is votes and/or cheap labor, while they ignore the many-fold impact on society of the overpopulation their pro-immigration votes are causing. We (those not living high on the hill) are forced to live with the fallout of their selfish decisions while they have the money and isolation to shield themselves from overpopulation and reduced resources.

It is unfortunate that this administration chooses the wants of special interest groups over the rights of citizens.

How long will we allow those here illegally to take jobs from unemployed citizens?

How long will we tolerate those here illegally birthing children that are given automatic citizenship?

How long will we tolerate those here illegally going to our schools at taxpayer's expense, taking away room from citizens that want a higher education?

How long will we tolerate those here illegally committing violent crimes disproportionate to their numbers?

Please have your elected official vote to restore sanity and put an end to ILLEGAL immigration.

My relatives are all immigrants. They came here years ago. None of them came with much, and when they got here they worked two and three jobs, made it a point to learn the language and become Americans, not German-Americans or Polish Americans just Americans. None of them got a free ride. They lived without free education, free housing, free anything, and frankly they were too proud to accept it if it were offered. Now a days people come here and are given a free ride, over the people that already live here and are struggling themselves. Americans are out of work, they are losing their homes, they are fighting to feed their families, they can even send their children to school let alone college. Immigrants come here and get preferencial treatment. Our government doesn't see a problem with that. It is time the citizens of this country are thought of first before visitors. Our government needs to listen to We the people first and if people come they need to understand there are laws in this country that are written for all people not just a few. When I vote this year, immigration is going to me one of the most important issues on my mind. It is time that we enforce the laws that are already on the books, and stop making this situation worse than it is on a daily basis.

We have a sad state of affairs regarding enforcing laws in this country. The wealthy are not indicted many times because of their influence. Government workers get a pass as well, just one example that GSA's Neely is STILL on the government payroll, when he should be indicted. Then, this Issue of NOT enforcing Immigration Laws that have been on the books for ages. We do not need any new laws, the laws we have currently suit the situation just fine. "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" is just another phrase to say AMNESTY.

We do not have ANY Candidates that will help enforce the Immigration Laws in the coming election. Obama's "base" is Hispanics. He declines to enforce the laws and has even done and end run around them to get re-elected. And, Romney will take Rubio as his V.P., an Anchor Baby, who just authored a new version of the Dream Act. So, NEITHER Candidate will enforce the Laws. Sad, that politics affects the enforcement and prosecution of Federal Law. The Federal government is out of control. We ALL see that fact, no matter what side one is on in this issue.

It's hard to understand why they don't take their oath to uphold the constitution and enforce the rule of law seriously. They say they don't do those things in this case because illegal immigration is good for the economy. But in this case it clearly is not. So why aren't they enforcing the laws now? Clearly they are supporting illegal non-White immigrants because they seek to destroy White America.

Russ James of NH 6:24AM April 24, 2012

Obama is just another politician. The two things which motivate decisions by politicians are campaign donations and votes. The people most directly impacted are minority youth who are citizens and legal immigrants. The youth do not have the money to make compete with the employers of illegal employers on campaign donations. There is a truth that illegal aliens often have relatives or friends who can vote. Every citizen youth can vote in elections. If there was a campaign to enroll and educate the citizen youth many of the politicians would fall into line.

I to live here in Phoenix,Az. and am sick and tried of these illegal ailens taking our jobs, welfare, section 8, WIC,education and emergency care. They've ruined nice middle class neighborhoods with their loud parties and overcrowding living conditions.

I hope the Supreme Court uphold SB1070. Because hispanic/Irish American is fed-up.

First of all, if the government of Arizona, or the people of the state, for the matter, believe that any attempt to prevent over 500,000 people from entering the country, they are off of their rocker. Even passing it to the federal government has insanely high costs that could never be worth it. If the federal government or the state had any intelligence whatsoever they would simply ease the process of making "illegal immigrants" legal immigrants. I'm glad Obama isn't doing his job for once.
