Supreme Court's Healthcare Ruling is a Victory for Obama

The president and the country win as the court upholds the Affordable Care Act

June 28, 2012

About Peter Fenn:

This is a big victory for the American people, for struggling families, for those who live in fear of a serious illness wiping them out. Just as the passage of the controversial Medicare Act in 1965 quickly earned widespread praise from voters, this will too. President Barack Obama's image as a strong leader in difficult times is only enhanced by this legislation and the Supreme Court ruling. Mitt Romney can't make much political hay out of this, especially with his previous strong support of the individual mandate. A win all around for Obama and the country.
