Sadaam was paying terrorist to bomb Isreal.

Would you rather see Isreal invade to protect itself and risk a world war or sit around and think you have a strategic opinion on keeping the world and Americans safe.

Don't use the argument that we found no wmd's!

He used and posed chemical weapons on Iran and his own countrymen in the north, saught Nuclear Technology and was just insane enough to use them. He tried to ignite a world war back in 1991 when he launched SCUD's at Isreal in hope that isreal would retaliate and stir islamic countries to his aid.

Also for all you greenies, he flodded the Persian Gulf with an unparelleld oilslick that killed off hundres of thousands of species indiginous to the to the specific reagion of the catastrophe

If that doesn't explain that iraq was a top 2 country on the list of terror I don't know what will.

The comments made by Mr. Mayer is astounding! It makes me proud that I served in the Armed Forces to defend his right to write such putrid, hateful, idiotic crap! The invasion of Iraq never should have been. There was no valid reason for it. It was concieved in fautly intel, fueled by lies and when finally exposed it was too late. Tell me, how can a President of the United States stand up in a press conference and joke about one of the very reasons, WMDs, that he sent young men and woman off to die and be maimed? That is what's wrong not just in this country but in the world in general. People have stopped thinking for themselves and let others tickle their ears with what they want to hear or play upon their fears. That is why the world will never know true peace by the working of man.

I think we need to put a team together of all the liberals that deny 911 and the three thousand people that were incinerated and all the troops that were killed or mutilated for serving against Muslim aggression and send all the liberals over to be dropped off in Taliban land to make friends! Send their children and families over too and I know the Taliban will accomodate them very well! How about removing Bari Shabazz our "unvetted" Muslim POTUS installed by Princess Pelosi! Treason, Perjury and Election Fraud are real charges pending and Hillary could be on that train too. Misprision Of Felony can be serious, especially at the "Federal" level. Many on the list have recently disappeared from employment at the Whitehouse but we know who they are and what they've done. If the Constitution and the judicial that they have misprisioned are ever "restored" to authority, they just might be in trouble. If you study the history of Muslim agenda, their is no doubt of what is going on. Why are Democrats allowing the destruction of our country? Why do they hate the Special Operations of our Military that risk their lives every day to stop aggression towards the U.S. and our free land? We spend more money on porkbarrel Democrat giveaways than all Special Operations combined. How many liberals are willing to send their children to serve in the Military? They shouldn't be allowed to live in the U.S. if they are not willing to protect it. I guess their money is more important than their freedom. Can you take the fifth amendment on that? Hopefully, "Mercenaries" will be employed to take out all the liberals soon and deport them to Afghanistan, especially the wives of them who will enjoy Sharia law and being mutilated as females, stoned in the streets or maybe eaten by wild dogs after being raped and beaten, take a choice, sounds good to me! They will be able to write stories on how those poor people are so misunderstood by the west.

We need more statements like this; succinct, factual and comprehensive. Thanks also for pointing out that the violence in Iraq is part of a pattern of violent aggression covering a much greater area... and that trained mercenaries are maintaining and continuing the Euro/American program of genociding Iraq.

THERE WAS NEVER A CHANCE OF VICTORY...

As the "Arab Spring" has proven militant Islam is on the march (again) and Western Civilization lacks the will for war, and the Islamists know it.

From its beginning Islam has set about to conquer, destroy or convert all that is not Muslim. The Christian states in the Middle East were the first to fall victim to the scimitar. The church fought against Islam for a 1000 years. Catholic Knights and men at arms died by the thousands from the Middle East to Vienna and Spain. Finally saving Western Civilization from Sharia Law at the battles of Malta, LePanto and Vienna - and inflicting massive casualties at Rhodes - I note, "Nothing was ever lost so well as Rhodes."

History has been forgotten.

Now the Western will is weak and the Arab Spring will ultimately unite Islam against the West. Already churches are burning and Christians are dying. There is no way to prevent it. We have lost our will to win and replaced it with political correctness and U.N. Group Think.

Christianity is under attack in every country where there is a Muslim majority. Hundreds are murdered every month - thousands more dispossessed or evicted.

Last week Muslims murdered 200 Christians in Nigeria - entire families were slaughtered in their homes.

I.6 million dead Christians in the Sudan - the toll of the murdered rises there daily.

The last Christian church was demolished in Afghanistan just 2 months ago.

Turkey is working hard to stamp out Christianity. 100 years ago there were 4.5 million Christians in Turkey that number is now about 100,000.

Make no mistake. Islam is again on the march and we refuse to recognize that reality.

I give kuddos to President Obama for bringing home our troops. This war with Iraq should never have been started. I am of the opinion that we have failed to recognize one basic fact when it comes to President Obama--if we elect a man to lead us, then refuse to follow him, where in the world do we expect to go? Obama has faced opposition at every turn--even though we, as a country, knew he was up against the toughest economic problems since the Great Depression. Yet, we are still crying foul over his attempts to rebuild our economy. Obama is our president--how sad it is and how far we have fallen as a nation when we cannot support the man we have elected by popular vote. Just as we supported Bush, Regan, Nixon and a host of other less than sterling presidents--I believe Obama has been set up to be the fall guy for a system which will revile him as the worst president of our time simply because he cannot accomplish the impossible. He cannot lead when we refuse to follow.

Well whether or not the war was based on lies it still happened and we cannot deny the impact that we have had on the country. An early exit could mean that all of our boys that have lost their lives and also those that have lost themselves may be in vain, even if the war was not justified in your opinion.
