Winning Words, But Not a Winner

Obama didn't take any blame for America's problems

Back to argument

Ms. Brown, your inclusive comment says it all:

"Operating in campaign mode, using somewhat veiled language, Obama laid blame on the past administration and the Wall Street banks for the weak economy, and congressional procedure, corrupt practices, and partisan gamesmanship for 'what's broken' in Washington. Isn't this a 'cop-out?'"

Not taking blame for anything has certainly become Barack Obama's trade mark. It takes a big man (or woman) to admit their mistakes and this person remains very small, indeed!

Just for the heck of it, I googled, "Obama takes blame". Of the few most prominent, yet belittled, responses was where he "takes the blame" for the Republican re-take of the House in November, 2010. Yet, he then states obliquely that is was, in essence, the Democrat Party's fault for losing the House (...whoa)!!

Then, I googled, "Obama blames", and the entries were endless......

Of the most comical responses where President Obama blames the worsening economy on ATM's, I viewed the following: "I saw 6 ATM's in an alley, killing a Job. It looked like a hate crime"!

IMHO, this wholly defines Barack Obama and his entire administration.
