thebob.bobof AZ, sadly you are correct and that is why the GOP is failing America.

The only saving grace in all of this is that anyone that has the personally to run for President and is willing to go through and put everyone they know through the gauntlet of the process has got to be a huge ego-maniac to begin with.

The country needs a true patriot that puts the interest of the nation before anything else; self, race, religion, etc, but I am afraid that those types of people are too smart or unwilling to run the gauntlet of this process and that is America’s loss.

Romney is The Chosen One. The "Powers" have decided that Republicans will present Romney to America as the Republican candidate. Republicans must submit to their betters, the rich and the powerful Corporate Person.

The second obama term is almost a lock no matter what. If a Republican wins it will be out of a complete distain for obama, not for the GOP and that is a sad of affairs.

The GOP will be in trouble until it can find quality candidates that can lead the conservatives by actions not just words. Just because you profess to be a Republican/Conservative doesn't make it so. The base has to be empowered and motivated.
