I work at-least eleven hour days. I will receive no health benefits upon retirement and I pay $232.00 per month into my health benefits. I am a teacher of eighteen years.

Are there examples of equally challenging, demanding professions that are as poorly compensated? When I taught in New York City public schools, one of the highest paying systems in the country, I was still only making about $10 per hour, largely due to the long hours I had to work in order to meet the high needs of my students and their families. Is this over-compensation? I dread to think...
