Insiders: GOP Should Lay Off Obama on Global Warming

In a new Pew poll, 77 percent believe in global warming and want carbon emissions cut. So what should GOP critics do? Insiders say: Shift the debate to creating alternative clean energy sources. And stop trying to foil President Obama simply for the sake of handing him a defeat.

Global Warming ! NONSENSE !!!
No reasonable evidence exists supporting this Global Warming Nonsense ! Years ago the lib's religion was the Population Bomb .Yes ! We were all going to starve to death if we didn't start a new goverment program . Then Global Cooling ! Yes ! A new Ice Age if we don't empower goverment to change our behavior . Now Global Warming ???? Is this a Joke ????
I watched commercials in on Los Angeles TV stating Global Warming will cause droughts and widespread water shortages run by some Alec Baldwin , Sean Penn types. A few months later Hurricane Katrina is caused by global warming and rising tides will consume us all like Noah's Arc revisited .
Look at the UK . They passed this nonsense and not so happily pay increased electric and other energy costs with no change in their energy infastructure. It will take 30 years just to build up and redesign our Electric Transmission System to accomodate the new energy systems , which will still Mostly RELY on Clean Coal , Nuclear , and Natural Gas if the goverment would let us Drill for the Gas ,that is . $6 per Cubic Foot and more otherwise .
I worked for a one of the greenest Electric Utilities in the US and the best they ever did was under 5% of their total electric supply from Solar , Wind , Hydro , Geothermal , Sewage Gas , etc . Many say we could Double it by if the goverment built this and that . Beware ! The only thing you will get if they build it is Sticker Shock , and maybe an increase of green sources from 3% to 6% of total supply . Don't believe it !! The market can provide . Regulate . Don't Dominate ! Limit the number of dirty coal and fuel oil plants . Incentavise Small Hydro,Solar , Tides , Wind especially on household scale . Solar Generation and Heating Systems, Reflective Roofing Materials , Insulation, use Mass Transit .
The TECO Clean Coal Facility in Polk County Florida runs on diesel 75% of the time because of the problems running the syntetic gas facility yet congress cannot fund research on projects like these. But create a false panic called: Global Warming instead . Absurd ! The same people who can't tell you if it will rain tommorrow are telling us that we are going to die of either flooding or drought, heat or freezing unless we drive electric cars that run on electricity from dirty coal power plants ,and yet they have no plan except a new tax program .
Global Warming bunk
The true test on global warming reality is to compare earth with our neighborhing planets. The readings are available. Earth temp changes are the same as our neighbors. meaning: Orbit change, solar flares, and the sun itself has an impact on our temp. Not global Warming.
With that being said, Global Warming is an absolutely horrible science and those that practice it are modern day witch doctors.
However, I sure the increasing fumes, from our spewing, spitting horseless bugy, etc. are having more of impact on us than temp change. So. full steam ahead Witch Boy and may your illogical logic rid us of these horrible travel machines.
