Ron Paul

Ron Paul, most qualified, these sites do nothing more than reflect the T.V.'s and he elite's choice for a GOP candidate. WAKE UP CONSERVATIVES, YOUR BEING HAD AGAIN, SARA PALIN IS ON OPRAH FOR GODS SAKES! WAKE UP!

Thinking Americans will dominate in 2012

Huckabee is the only one that makes real common sense. Americans won't need a great politician in 2012 just like Obama in 2008. Leadership credentials placed in the table, only Huckabee makes sense.

*Bipartisanship (indicator of good leader) = Huckabee has 10+ years of that with very good results. He might not be deadly conservative in an overwhelmingly democratic/liberal state and legislature but he was able to push the essential conservative principles that he dearly holds, that most Americans dearly hold.

The support of Huckabee comes from mothers, fathers, sons, daughters who care for their families not only in terms of finances but also in terms of character and values. That support reaches across the the political aisle. And most of all, they are busy enough to involve in stupid blogs with stupid bloggers like this one. No wonder Gov. Huckabee leads almost all the polls during the last six months. Reading the bloggers posts here, Huckabee looks like a sure looser but the polls surely suggests something else.

Huckabee has my vote if ever he runs in 2012 0r 2016. Same with approx. 71% Republicans and 40% concerned Americans according to the latest Gallup Poll.

All for Huck!

Wendy

I saw some back room interviews with Huckabee after Iowa and felt a man of self interest emerge. I think he exhibits a tendency for power. Power hungry individuals are the most frightening to me.

GOP 2012

I agree with Robert Strimple of CA. Surely, surely a competent conservative with an appropriate background will surface. I am tired, tired, tired of Sarah Palin. I would have thought much more of her had she completed the term of office to which she was elected by her fellow Alaskans. And now she has written a book--everyone seems to be writing a book. The candidacy of McCain and Palin was a disaster--just what the media wanted. Mike Huckabee from all appearances is a very nice man, but I cannot see him as a world leader. Romney is not electable in my view. Frankly, if someone does not rise to the occasion, the options for 2012 look pretty bleak to me.

the shadow knows Huckabee

Just who would you nasayers suggest ? Not another Senator ! Remember Bob Dole and Jack Kemp ?? . No republican Senator has won the presidency since Harding. Not another loser McCain Military man either please !! .Eisenhower was the last since 1952 ... Please ,, Not another wall streeter!! Look at the mess they have us in now . Club for Greed ?? The Washington blue gums have been picking the Republican nominee for years .Time to kick out the elite blue gums/ Rinos . They alone are responible for the jobs going to China & the far east . . The polls show . Huckabee , Romney and Palin in that order ..Tiome to Rally behind the leader . Now for all you " Moderates/ Indepndents that rant about Huckabees faith . . Obviously it was not a factor in your decision to vote for Obama,,, a MUSLIN ... HOW RELIGIOUS IS THAT !!! ?? . Explain that one boys & girls when lambasting Huckabees faith !!. Pay attention. If Rush Limbaugh , Bill Crystal , Larry Kudlow and wall street players,, along with the Club for Greed endorce a canditate ,,,Be Afraid !!!. It`s more of the same ..Rinos & Limozine blue gums selling off jobs to Asia for greed at the Americam workers expense .. Your vote means nothing if they are allowed to continue picking the nominee.. .A little reminder/example . Remember when McCain was flat broke sans Cristies money ,, flying coach during his campaign ?? Then he appeared on Larry Kudlows show & proclaimed to be a free trader.A 180 Flip flop from his platform .. Suddenly He was flushed with cash & a new bus & rising in the polls . Except for South Carolina and McCains sacificial running mate Fred Thompson.that parked his fat arse in the conservative upstate state . Huckabee would have won the GOP presidential nomination . . Huckabee`s the front runner at this time with 71% of the likely 2012 republican voters. It` obvious to this voter I am going with the majority Huckabee the real conservative & Palin in either order .. AS for Romney his Wall street buddies & Bain Capital are assured to try again in 2012 knowing how short memories are . . Romney can not win in the south . .Bob Jones University & Pat Robinson CBN are still eating Crow for endorsing the perceived conservative Romney. He`s a SUIT folks . Expect 4 more years of the Kenyan if Conservatives , Moderates, & Independents remain fragmented . Exactly what the Demorats want

Romney is the man

Romney is the man if he can stop being so plastic. If he is himself he looks pretty good.

You need someone that understands where real wealth comes from. The only way out of this mess were are in, in the economy is to get people earning more wealth. Real work and not some pie-in-the-sky green jobs.

Romeny is a sure vote loser

Sad to see the GOP is being bought by Romney. It's price seems to be Romneys bank account, and it is a sure bet they will not win in 2012 if Romney is the front runner.

2012 GOP FIELD

This lifelong conservative Republican can't believe our 2012 presidential candidate will be one of these 3! Surely an impressive, well-qualified, true leader can be found somewhere! By 2012 the consequences of our current president's policies, both foreign and domestic, will be apparent; and voters will be longing for the change we really need. But voters won't be looking to any one of these 3 to provide that leadership.

Fine

We like Obama a lot and we plan to keep him. Republicans are going to help, it appears.

GOP 2012

As an emasculated republican, with decades of forebearers in the GOP, I am totally appalled at what has happened within the party.

The rabid right has dominated the agenda for many years now, leaving moderate, middle of the roaders like myself, without a place to hang our hats. I now consider myself an independent, but still subscribe to the basic beliefs of less government (in ALL areas !), etc. I just can't fathom how Palin was picked to be second place on a natinal ticket, given her complete lack of experience and understanding of the workings of the world. I think it's now time for the "Old GOP" to get it's act together and find candidates who DO want to work in harmony, get things done and actually benefit the country instead of the ultra right wing jerks. The party was trounced in 2008 (admittedly because of Bush), but will be even more decimated in 2012 if they can't find more acceptable candidates........
