Bin Laden Did Not Hate America in 1979
By Anna Mulrine, Washington Whispers
Terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden was the shy child of a divorcée, and his favorite food is zucchini stuffed with marrow. That's according to Najwa Bin Laden, Osama's wife and first cousin. She tells the story of their courtship in her new tome, Growing Up bin Laden, written with her son Omar bin Laden and author Jean Sasson; the subtitle promises that "Osama's Wife and Son Take Us Inside Their Secret World." Najwa shares that at the age of 15, she was impatient for Osama to propose. No chatterbox, his "silence soon grew annoying," she confesses. She tells about a trip she took with Osama to the United States in 1979, visiting Indiana. "I came to believe that Americans were gentle and nice, people easy to deal with," she writes. "As far as the country itself goes, my husband and I did not hate America, yet we did not love it."

bin laden
From from a person that knows bin laden mind , He wants peace he hates injustice he knows many people are dieing on both sides but as a builder knows some times you have to destroy an old building to start a new get down to rock and remove all the old and crumblly un stable ground for solid footing . I belive he wants to get a solid footing on fair treatment of the muslem people if we just ask for his opion on how we can work together we might be able to change him from a terrost to a statesman .HE has the power to stop the violance he has the power to help bring peace . I know its sounds crazy ,if we could start a dialog with him and listen to his grevances we might be able to stop this madness we are all at fault lets start showing some love and kindness even to him hate just breed hate the only antidote is love and kindness and respect .
In congruencies abound
Something doesn't line up: whether its what we have all been told previously on Bin Laden or his under-exposed (and may I dare say softer?) side remains to be seen.
Osama was in Indiana?!
Now that's surreal. Makes me imagine that he could have been one of the cheese-curd eaters at the Minnesota State Fair or something.
It is interesting how people can change so drastically...it reminds me of the teen in the London bombing who was so thoroughly British and proud of it, then something cracked when he went to Pakistan.
