Feminism is a scam
Feminism is a scam. It is an attack on a set of values and belief system, not a single struggle for the so-called equality of women. That is why so many issues keeps on being dragged into the debate that has absolutely nothing to do with the so-called liberation of women. It is a secular humanist ideology tied in with belief systems such as Evolution and Atheism. Its purpose is the destruction of the traditional family. It is at war with morals as defined in classical religious views. It pretends to have a monopoly on fight for the rights of women, and use it at every and any opportunity to drag the rest of the ideology in as a package deal. It pretends that to be a Bible believer makes you automatically an enemy of women. It is the blatant exploitation of women to further a secular humanist ideology with no moral foundation in its war against a competing ideology under the auspices of fighting for women’s rights.
Sarah Palin is everything that this ideology fights against. She makes the other competing ideology look good – and exposes that you don’t need the sum total of their ideology to be a successful woman. In fact – she makes them look blatantly false – and the realization that what she stands for is so much more pure and true than what their ideology proposes sets of the alarm bells. She could sink the whole ideological package that is being towed in under the cover of so-called women’s rights.
For these feminazis it is the whole deal or nothing. You must be a liberal atheist with no moral values and a man hater to qualify as a feminist – or to be allowed to benefit from the scam. Sarah Palin is a Christian. She has a family. She is moral. She does not murder her unborn. Everything that they fight against. It has nothing to do with fighting for women. That is why they can not tolerate any of the other issues on its own even when it has to do with the service interval of your vehicle and nothing to do with the rights of a woman. See the scam for what it is and the real target that they are after. You have been hoodwinked.

Compare apples to apples
Too funny. In making the point that feminists are jealous of Palin, Continetti compares Palin to a character created by Tina Fey. While admitting that Fey and Palin have much in common, he describes the 30 Rock character Liz Lemon as a successful failure for not having children. Hello? Liz Lemon is a fiction and does not seem to know that Palin exists. What is the point if any of comparing Palin to a character? Oh, maybe it's because Palin herself has created such a fictional version of her own character.
Yeah jealousy, that's it.
When did it become an article of faith with the party of Lincoln, TR and Eisenhower that one should always put forward your most intellectually uncurious, reactionary and mediocre candidate as your standard bearer? Why is it so difficult to understand that the rest of us might want this country to remain in one piece for a few more generations, and want someone who has some of the necessary skills to run it? And why in the world would you hire someone to run the government who thinks 'government is the problem?' Its only a problem because you hired an unqualified piano player, Condi Rice to guard our national security and Brownie to evacuate us from the flood, genius.

Palin's Attractiveness
Hey Pete, I can't speak for others but I can honestly say Palin's politics are certainly more important to me than her good looks and her accomplishments in Alaska are impressive. The fact that she's attractive is clearly a bonus in this media-driven age no doubt. I think the image factor applies far more to someone like Obama than Palin. Let's face it, if Obama were a white man, he'd be a laughing stock as far as Presidential politics goes; in the same league with a Dennis Kucinich. Were it not for his ethnicity, he would never have gotten anywhere near the big prize and Hillary would have taken it.
As for the Tina Fey thing, I didn't really get that point at all either. There are certainly better examples of feminists out there he could have used to make a valid point about potential jealousy on their part. Maureen Dowd comes to mind.
So, Palin is being compared to a pretend TV character?
Be honest, conservatives, if Palin didn't look the way she did, would you care two figs about anything she has to say? Framing your boosterism of Ms. Palin primarily on her looks doesn't exactly lend itself to a solid foundation in making your case.
As for the weird comparison between Palin and Fey. Tina Fey has been married for about 10 years, and has a six year old daughter. All the while, Fey managed to balance a family and a professional career. So, in summary, Liz Lemon is not a real person. Neither is Jack Bauer.
