In U.S. News Weekly: Michelle's Honey and Petraeus as President

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

There has been a lot of buzz in Washington political circles that Army Gen. David Petraeus is itching to run for the presidency after he leaves his post as boss of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But Washington Whispers reports in the latest digital U.S. News Weekly that the four-star really isn't keen on it.

Also in the digital edition: First lady Michelle Obama is treating the honey from the South Lawn beehive like gold; a revival of The West Wing isn't in the cards; the Reagan presidential library is building a series of events around the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall; and more Americans think that the Halloween costume that best suits President Obama is Superman. The hapless Charlie Brown comes in second. To see more, subscribe to the digital weekly.

PRESIDENT OBAMA

What does President Obama's father have to do with anything? He hardly knew him. People like you are incredibly mean spirited.

Incredibaly naive

auradawn veirs of CA:

You seriously need to look at who the father of Barry (Barack) is. A British national who is of Kenyan heritage. I guess in your world that is living like most Americans huh? What passport did ol' Barack use to travel to Afghanistan when it was illegal to do so on an American passport during the 80's? How does one become associated with someone like Bill Ayers and not regret the encounter or have a pastor for almost 20 years and not hear a word of what he is preaching? You have been attached a little too long to the hooka pipe to think that this man is not associated to the group of the Red Shield or the politically connected. The name changed from Bauer in the 1700's to the German way of saying it, Rotschild which by the way means red shield. Think Illuminati and banking conspiracy.

We don't need another general as president

If VP Gore wants it, I wish he'd run again. Election 2000 was such a scam, one of the worst subversions of our election system. It was even worse then the way Nixon got his second term. Nader is probably exhausted and was "before his time." Gore started us on the way with his popularizing of "Silent Spring," and "The Population Bomb," etc. Now Congress finally OK's solar, wind and tidal power. I am optimistic, even though it will take some time for the terrible current depression to fade away.
