Washington Whispers by Paul Bedard

George W. Bush Still an Early Bird

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

Retirement hasn't had any impact on former President George W. Bush's internal clock. Just as when he was in Washington, associates say he rises early and gets to his Dallas office virtually every day at 7 a.m. And he stays until midafternoon. What's there to do for eight hours? He splits his time working on his White House memoir, raising money for his presidential library and museum, and drafting those highly paid speeches that pay the rent.

Thank you President George Bush

I am watching Fox News coverage tonight 9-11-09. I am reminded of the horror of the 911 events. Former President George Bush you did an incredible job of keeping us safe after this and thank you! To h_ll with out the arrogant people and awful things they have said about your war on terrorism. They will one day regret it when they see what a real hero you really were in handling the events.

If this happened under the current administration they would probably all pull out rugs and bow down to the east and the new Messiah to the people of the world.

bush bashers

good thing we had a President like Bush, and other Presidents in the past like him , otherwise people like you would not be able to spout off at the mouth with ignorant comments. Who are you to blame all of America's problems on one or two people, what have you done to stop it from happening? try accepting the blame for all the people you put in congress, that are just as much to blame if not more.

palin and bush

sarah palin is the dumbest politican in history (George Bush 43 is a bit on top hes the most dumbest). G-D forbid she will be president. Shes a moron and needs to stay in Alaska. George Bush and cheney should rot in jail for what they did to the USA. Both were involved in 9/11 and they knew it was going to happen but refused to stop it. They flew the Bin Laden family out of the country (they are close friends). These 2 morons are responsible for the suffering in the economy we are going through. they said it was our punishment and they did nothing about it. Real asses. They need to go on trial and be convicted.
