more slop in the trough for cheney

This disgusting hog has cost America far too much already; we are now supposed to protect him from the enemies he made while bilking our national coffers??

He is an evil glutton with no conscience or shred of patriotism...it's all about Dick.

Cheney can pay for his own protection with the phenomenal amounts of money he stole from US taxpayers via Haliburton!

Shame on you Obama!

The Terror Presidency

It's the people who need protection from Cheney, a so-called wolf in a culture of government corruption.

He was part of the Bush Terror Presidency and its predatory American Gestapo. They dangled the fear of terror over critic’s heads every time a whimper of dissent emerged over attempts to beef executive power.

They believe that the Terror Presidency oan do anything it likes, even if Congress, even if the Supreme Court says it couldn't. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/cheney/

Counsel David Addington threatened mass terror attacks to silence the DoJ when it questioned the legality of Bush's no-warrant domestic surveillance program. “We’re one bomb away from getting rid of that obnoxious [FISA] court,” cursed Addington

President Obama appears to be a false prophet now in cahoots. He calls George W. Bush the 'good guy'.

With all due respect,

I agree with Nietzsche girl

But, I do believe that the American People are paying for too much, have been for a long time and it's getting worse. I think Cheney should pay for his own security, he does have the money I am sure of it. The government needs to know that not all problems need not to be, (not solved by the people they do that whether we want them to or not), paid for by the people. Sometimes gov't and big corps should flip the bill themselves. And shame on us for allowing them to get away with soooo much and for sooo long! JUST SAY NO!!!

blog of interest

What a mess I also found a very interesting blog that sums this whole mess up.

nice blog bro! keep it up.

Cheney is an evil, ruthless bastard...

but he must be kept safe. We can't allow for vigilante justice. This is America, and Americans have rights, even the evil ruthless ones. Taxpayer dollars will always be spent to protect bad people from the torch-and-pitchfork mobs who would seek "street justice" on their own terms. It's called civilized society. To allow any wingnut (left or right) with a grudge take matters into his or her own hands against a political leader from either side of the spectrum would be criminal. This is the sort of anarchy we might expect in a third-world nation, but that is not how we operate here. I do believe Cheney is guilty of multiple crimes, against the Constitution, the Geneva Convention, and against humanity in general; however, this is a matter for a court of law to decide. NOT the people, or Congress, or the media, who may only have access to half of the facts at best. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, entitled to due process of law, and should be spared from cruel and unusual punishment -- even those who themselves may have been guilty of subjecting others to cruel and unusual punishment. Our system is designed to seek justice, not vengeance. We do not cut off the hands of thieves or take an eye for an eye, nor do we allow the victims of crimes to seek revenge on their own terms. This is not the Wild West, and there are reasons we have so many laws to protect the rights of the accused. Let him be protected, and let him be judged in a court of law, or in a court of higher authority after his passing.

"He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." - Friedrich Nietzsche

what a waist of money

Why do the taxpayers have to pay for their security.

If dad wants more security let him pay for it.

Let him burn !

I hope he burns in hell and pays for what he has done in Iraq. I can see some people are clueless about me and my buddies deploying to Iraq for the 3rd time, so his brown and root can make some cash out our expense. Honor is serve you country and fight for it. Not avoid it like he did in Vietnam. Perhaps people that love him are nothing but scum, rich, greedy people. They dont know what reality is. Love of country requires sacrifice not fake emotion. !

security

Another big waste of money

do not pay

Cheney, just like bush needs to pay for their own damn security. Why in the **** should the American people have to pay for it?

Just wait, once Obama is no longer in office watch how many republicans whine because he has secret service protection.
