It's because people are starting to figure out Gregory. How sad it is that Tim Russert was "replaced" by him. Her's the bottom line. Tough questions or not...everyone respected & liked Russert.
I'd say that few like Gregory and couldn't say whether or not they respect him.

Schieffer Is Most Trusted Veteran TV Anchor.
You don't get much better at doing the job of Anchoring a TV News Program than Bob Schieffer does on CBS.
You know Schieffer has never crossed the line that some of guys are by saying things that even they don't believe all for the sake of controversy.
Despite his age, he's sharp and concise with a delivery and on-air demeanor that nobody can duplicate.
Bob Schieffer is Top Shelf Broadcaster. Looks don't make you one. Credibility is the only acceptable trait.
There is nobody on TV with the credibility of Bob Schieffer.
There are some real dummies, though.
Not one of them good enough to carry Bob Schieffer's notebook.

Simply, no longer trust Meet the Press. Think that there is way too much 'pay back' in the 'energy plan' that will find its way into the coffers of GE!!
