the peace of God with you

helllo , dear .

i 'm greeting you in the name powerful of God . so it 's an amazing pleasure to write us . I'm Rocessite josias , and from haiti . whereas i 'm a person support children hasn't mother and father. but i dlike we has the ability to bear me . and support of them . because haiti this's a country who has stuff children are suffering . the lord like while we can trying to help someone who hasn't . the when you can do that and you'll reciev a reward in hand jesus .

Thanks God for the help !

For now,Food Program sounds great. In the future, think about investments and Job Creation.Wages for unskilled labour is very low plus a young workforce ready to earn their livings thru hard work. They should be a coorporation of American, French and Spain in the fight to help Haitians get back on their feet because somewhere down the lines they are somehow responsible for the current sufferings there. For exemple :Colonization,Cold War Era politics, support for dictatorship, collapse of Haitian Tourist industry thru the Aids stigma by the US in favor of Disney World USA. Ruins of Haitian Local Agriculture in favor of Tire Products for USA during World War II, the paying of independance dept to France which values today around 22 billions US dollars, using of haitians as guinee pigs for US pharmacytical companies in the late 50's thru early 80's.

God has started to govern the world and get thru the heads of Mc Govern , Bill Clinton and all the beautiful christian missionaries whom have not giving up on helping Haiti since the 50's.

Thanks...

I want to thank everyone who one way or another want to support Haiti.I was twenty Five when I left Haiti.I love my country, and dreaming a real and permanent change for it.

What Haiti need is a tranformation, to do so we need everyone's help.

There is no possible change without God. Haitians let's stop hated each other but lets love one another with a sincere heart( only God the creator can do it. we've been tried vodou for over two hundred years things keep getting worst.I got some good practical solution for Haiti.

Since I was born and grew up there, and being in USA for sometimes.

I can help, and willing to do so.

Thanks!

Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti, Inc.

The Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti is a 501(c)(3)working in Haiti since 1998. CNP is an educational program, not a feeding program, that teaches caregivers sustainable nutrition methods using indigenous resources. Using PD/Hearth, CNP has dramatically improved children survival rates in Haiti's Leogane commune. The Program and Haitian personnel, based at Hopital Ste.Croix,Leogane, are in place now to implement a pilot program with McGovern-Dole organization. Visit www.cnphaiti.org for more information.

Children's Nutrition Project of Haiti

THERE IS A NEW "POSITIVE DEVIANCE/HEARTH" APPROACH TO COMBAT MALNUTRITION IN HAITI. (See Childrens Nutrition Project of Haiti out of Chattanooga). I have worked in Haiti, since 1967, beginning at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital at Deschapelles. The above approach is based on the fact that there are some well nourished children in very poor homes in every village. Their mothers, (known as "positive deviants"), after inquiry, prove to have the keys to combat malnutrition using local recipes and foods, not hand-outs. (An exception is the "Medika-Mamba" peanut based derivative that helps children over the acute phases). Rather caretakers (including mothers) need training, skill building and sharing. There is a "Positive Deviance Center" at Tufts University School of Nutrition that is active in this method. I hope and pray Sen. McGovern finds out about these methods.

Haiti has not been forgotten!!

I am so happy that Haiti is finally on everybody's radar screen again. Haiti needs all the help it can get. Haiti has faced some hard times in the last 50 years. In the 50's, 60’s, 70’s, 80's and 90's Haiti has suffered bad governing, economic collapse, natural disasters, denial of economic asylum, and the world looking the other way, when Haiti needed them it the most. I would like to say it gives me much joy to see the world has shifted their policy towards helping Haiti. I hope the help falls in the right hands this time to stop the Haitian children from eating mud cookies or having a meal every three days. It is not healthy for Haitian's to be living on one dollar a day. It gives me great pleasure to see Bill Clinton showing concern and courage by taking on this hard task of helping the Haitian people. It is a very complicated task that has a lot of challenges but, Clinton is the right choice. I would like to thank George McGovern for showing his concern for Haiti.

Hope he does it through American Non-Profits

Living and working here in Haiti, we always wish we had more funds or food to help the situation. The Americans on the ground here, that already have established missions (www.missionsinhaiti.com), could take 100% of the $$ and use it directly to help the people.

Haiti needs help.

His heart is in the right place

And if his pocketbook comes up short, he can take up voluntary contributions from anyone and everyone in the world. But in this economic recession-depression-downturn-lack of job-short on money--whatever you want to call it, more mandatory dipping into the taxpayer's pocket without a vote for any purpose is just that much more of a burden being passed along to those future generations that will follow us.

If this sounds heartless, call reality whatever you want.
