Obama Socialist Charge Is Catching On

It's still a tiny number in his surveys, but Pew pollster Andrew Kohut is finding evidence that the right's charge that President Obama's policies are socialist is gaining steam at the same time that references to the Obama campaign's theme of change are dropping. "It's in the conversation for people who are critical of Barack Obama," Kohut says of the word socialist. In his latest survey, 20 out of 742 people offered "socialist" when describing Obama, up from 13 in February and six in September. "Change," meanwhile, was mentioned by 10, down from 17 in February and 36 in September. "It's registering," Kohut said of the socialist charge lobbed by conservatives. Nonetheless, Kohut's Pew Research Center for the People and the Press poll found that most people view Obama favorably and as one who is trying to change politics in Washington.

Down with socialism
The Republicans are correct. We should not have any socialism in the US. Imagine how much less taxes you and your corporations would have to pay if we got rid of the Democrats and other bleeding heart liberals. Let's start cutting socialist programs right now.

Ohh, too bad, you house is on fire? You should have paid for you own fire department, because we closed the socialist one in the US.
Fortunately, the 2nd Amendment and the NRA gave us guns. I've enjoyed driving to work in my Abrams tank (too bad if you can't afford one) and blasting away at any who got in my way. We don't need no stinking police.
The court system, now that is a stupid socialistic idea we don't need. All they wanted to do any way was protect the rights of those who couldn't do it themselves. Any executive or former executive thereof or employee of EIB, would tell you that they don't need protecting so tell those bleeding heart liberals to go to he__.
Look at all the money we are going to save on roads, our power grids, dams, dikes, levees, bridges, etc. We don't need that socialistic crap.

What America Should Be Asking For.
1.We ask equality of rights for the American people in respect to the other nations.
2.We insist that the state be charged first with providing the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens.
3.All citizens must have equal rights and obligations.
4.The first obligation of every citizen must be to work both spiritually and physically. The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interest’s community, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all.
5.We need the government intervention of ailing banks.
6.We need government intervention of ailing industries.
7.We are in need of an expansion on a large scale of welfare for the elderly and impoverished.
8.We can work toward the creation of a healthy middle class.
9.We call for a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of green energy.
10.The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious person to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions.
11.The State is to care for the elevating national health by providing universal health care and by the encouragement of physical fitness.
12.We need for the formation of a citizen army.
13.We need to encourage art and literature that supports national charity and patriotism.
14.America has freedom of religion for all religious denominations within the state so long as they do not endanger its existence or oppose the moral senses of the Country.
15.For the execution of all of this we need the formation of a strong central power in the Government.
All these ideas sound great don't you think? They even sound much like what President Obama has been working toward. Too bad they are 15 paraphrased articles or the 25 articess of the NAZI party that Hitler put forward. Before you bash the Republicans do a little research.
GOP is finished
The GOP can put out whatever rubbish they choose from now on. Their party is finished. They haven't got a hope in 2012. While Obama's approval ratings remain remarkably strong, the GOP's keep falling. Doesn't that tell you something? The GOP is a massive fail.
