Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's Humbling Moment
By Nikki Schwab, Washington Whispers
Sure, Madeleine Albright's a celeb on the world stage, but at home it's sometimes "Madeleine who?" Case in point: In a Chicago airport security line recently, she went unnoticed until she was face to face with a Transportation Security Administration officer. "Oh, my God, it's you!" Albright recalls him saying. After telling the former Madame Secretary that he was Bosnian, the TSA agent went on: "We all love you in Bosnia, and if it weren't for you, there wouldn't be a Bosnia." Only after he held up the crowd for a picture with Albright did things return to normal, prompting a woman in line to ask the former Clinton cabinet aide: "So what exactly happened here?" As Albright tells it: "I said, 'Well, I used to be secretary of state.' And she says, 'Of Bosnia?' "

Meeting in L.A.
I had the wonderful experience of meeting Madeleine Albright at The Grove, formerly (Farmers Market) about a week ago. I called out her first name while having lunch, she turned and I asked if I could shake her hand. She walked immediately approached and said, "you certainly can". I was sitting in a chair and never stood up. I knew I should have stood for the handshake but she is a rather petite woman and I'm large. I didn't want to appear to over power her. However, I wish I had stood for the greeting.
Madeleine was very approachable. I could have talked with her for hours I'm sure but, kept the greeting short as she was on her way to do the Craig Furguson show at CBS.
Albright
Albright will forever be remembered as the facilitator of N Korea's nuclear program. Her legacy may actually take us "the end", literally!
Albright's "Legacy"
The sooner we ALL forget her, the better. A disaster as Sec State!
