Will Obama Raise Taxes?

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

This week's Tax Day brought protests against taxes and an explanation from President Obama that he cut taxes and was sticking to his goal or lightening the load on the middle class. But it seems that a lot of you don't believe him. We have just posted our latest Capitol Bobbles poll asking if Americans think that Obama will raise or cut taxes. The early results: By 3 to 1, respondents see higher taxes.

Tax Day was noted for hundreds of protests around the nation and President Obama's explanation that he cut taxes for most Americans. What do you think he will do in the future?

Obama a socialist? No it's a fact.

I think the debt has been there since Regan and will never be eliminated. People say that Bush made all the debt, well maybe some yes but maybe if you look at the president before last (Clinton) there you will find the most debt. Bush had a war to pay for of course he's going to spend money to keep us safe. Clinton didn't have a war and he spent more than Bush. I'm no political guy but even this seems obvious to me. Obama will raise taxes, of course he's a democrat. He also wants to turn us into a socialist country. If the poor can't pay for themselves then they can't pay for it. Don't steal from the ones who have made something of themselves and give it to them. I think people should donate money to the poor because it's the right thing to do but to be told to give your money and how much should not be the governments call.

Never enough without REAL change

Folks, Washington is addicted to OUR money. THEY (Deocrats AND Republicans) spend more than they have year after year. Obama has just done this on an exponetial rate compared to ANY of his predicessors. It's just become business as usual.

I wouldn't mind carrying the TAX load if those "Rich People" in Washington would grow up and learn to BUDGET.

Why is the richest nation in the world 11.3 TRILLION in DEBT?

How long do you think we can continue that?

Time for REAL change, not the same ole Democratic Religion.

NO MORE BUSHHHHHHHH

stop your crying, pay back some of the money that was handed down by the bush administration. goooooooo Mr; president. it's about time we have someone in office who cares for the American people. ( A MAN IS AFRAID WHEN HE EXPERIENCE SOMETHING DIFFERENT}."DON'T BE THAT MAN WALKING AROUND W/A SKIRT ON.
