By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

Vice President Joe Biden has stepped out as the administration's voice for the regular guy. So it shouldn't be surprising that his new pup, Champ, is following in his master's shoe steps. We hear the German shepherd is a hit with guests and the best friend of the veep's grandkids. What makes the fast-growing puppy happy? Besides the constant attention, Champ gets his share of doggie biscuits. And, says an aide, "he has found his way to a few shoes."
