Smile, You're on 'Lobbyist Camera'
By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers
Washington's antilobbyist frenzy is about to get a) tougher or b) sillier. Here's what's under consideration: Meetings between lobbyists and administration officials would be filmed and posted on the Internet. The goal, of course, is transparency. The impact, say lobbyists, is they'll just shift to phones or E-mail to Obama aides' private accounts on Gmail and Yahoo. "What's next," asks a lobbyist friendly to the White House, "public phone recordings with us?"

outlaw all of them
I think that lobbyists and their firms should be outlawed.
According to the Constitution, THE PEOPLE, can have someone represent them before OUR government with requests and needs for the communities.
Lobbyists and their firms, on the other hand, represent ONLY BIG BUSINESS and their needs, which only make their pockets fatter and do NOTHING to help Americans.
Bravo
I this is absolutely the best thing to do with these 'lobbyists'. They and their firms serve NO useful purpose and cost the American people and cost us billions of dollars every year.
They should be OUTLAWED.
The constitution states that the PEOPLE have a right to have someone else lobby/represent them in respects to what their needs and wants are.
Lobbying firms and their employees DO NOT lobby for the America people BUT for BIG BUSINESS and what will help it and NOT necessarily the American people.
I SAY OUTLAW ALL LOBBYING FIRMS and/or MAKE THE ILLEGAL.
