The arrogance of some people--Bremer is a war ciminal---paint will not erase the blood of American soldiers who died
under his watch. Patriot? Give me a break. If I stole as mcuh money as he did, I could hide away in Vermont and paint. BTW-I don't parrot information I read and read and read and read.I compare and contrast. He gave Iraq bloodshed.

Bremer's paintings are similar to ones at the local art show at the mall painted by your aunt. If the barns and other Vermont buildings were set in the Iraqi desert, it might be more interesting and make up for the awful beginner-badness of the paintings...it seems as if he is running from something, I wonder what that could be? His colossal failure in Iraq? I guess painting a total opposite climate and subject from his Bush administration “work” quiets the voices in the mind.

actually, bremer IS an artist.
Unfortunately, the majority of Artists can't tell the difference.
what i mean by this is that a majority of artists think that perfect imitation is good art.
bremer may not be an insanely good draftsman, but he definitely has a sense of what looks good, a good sense of colors and texture, handling, lyrical quality.
i was definitely surprised by bremer's work.

The relative stability in Iraq today is due in large part to the political foundation Bremer set in place five years ago. This is what they'll all be writing a year from now. Put into an impossible situation, he made something out of nothing. It may not be perfect, but ask any Iraqi about Bremer you'll hear about his heroic effort to help their country through the end of its age of tyranny. The decision to go into Iraq is an entirely different debate - Bremer deserves credit for what we're seeing now - progress.

Paul was not much of a Diplomat; more in the "pretty Boy" category with a "Midas Touch Inverte" things he touched turned to shit. Be very surprised if his art is better than his act.

Yes, he drafted the Iraquis Constitution all right! I read it online 5 or 6 years ago.. It contained a clause that it was a FELONY to save your heirloom seeds! Punishable by imprisonment. What a great boon for Monsanto GM seed company. They are trying to OWN ALL seeds in the world!
I have devoted 55 years of my life to the study and production of ART ONLY No time off for killing! Because of the excess of money spent in Iraq, my SS income is short sheeted! Hard to paint with a clear mind when you are worried about not being able to pay your bills!
Bremner is NO ARTIST, He's an amateur! Unfortunately the majority of Americans can't tell the difference.

Bremer is a true patriot who took on an extremely difficult job at the request of the President. In the one year that he was in Iraq, he established a basis for representative government and laid the groundwork for the success we see there now.
He has received heavy criticism from those who are informed solely by negative media, as in the case of the negative comments about his painting. It is sad, and would be worse if one did not consider the source of the criticism. I am sure of my facts because I was privileged to have served in Iraq with him.
Bremer is honorable
Vee White's last posting shows the ignorance and gullibility of the public at large. Vee, just keep repeating nonsense and slogans long enough and maybe they'll believe it. Fritz Hipple pioneered that same technique for Hitler. Research the facts, if you are smart enough !
