As President Obama makes his final push for approval of the $825 billion and growing job stimulus plan, he's winning support from groups like Americans United for Change that are targeting opposing Republicans. We heard from Americans United boss Brad Woodhouse today, and he revealed plans to expand his ad campaign against Republican foes. The hook of the ads: Are Republicans going to walk in lock-step with popular conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh? "The time to act boldly to turn this economy around is now, and we are leaving no stone unturned, ratcheting up the pressure on key senators to do the right thing," he says. "House Republicans decided to listen to Rush Limbaugh and put partisan politics ahead of getting people back to work as the Obama plan would do. We are putting senators on notice not to follow Limbaugh off the cliff into the political abyss but to support the Obama jobs plan instead."

So, starting this week, he's expanding TV and radio ads targeting Republicans. Included in the new wave are Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar, Missouri Sen. Kit Bond, Kentucky Sen. Jim Bunning, North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr, and Florida Sen. Mel Martinez. Woodhouse called the radio ads "Limbaugh themed." Right now, the group is running ads against 13 of the 41 senators, or an entire third of the GOP caucus.

Below are the titles and links to the ads:

Radio ad: “Rush to Failure

Burr
Martinez

 TV ad: “Factory

SOCIALISM

Why are you conservatives so scared of socialism? I think alittle of it can really help this country...in order to update our infrastructure, we have turned to socialism in the past as a tool to bring it about...the V.A., Medicare, the Interstate highway system, the internet were made through socialistic measures....England & France are fine with it...and they have as much freedom as we do. Your living in the 1950's; the days of McCarthy fear.

Your afraid the government will take away your big RV, your motor boat, big screen tv, & other things you really don't need

and spend it on things like health care , alternate energy, better roads etc.

You can't count on big business to keep us from dependance on foriegn oil.

Sour grapes

I am astounded at how polarized this country has become. It seems that anyone with a more moderate view than the Limbaugh style Republicans is branded as a "left-wing liberal", a "socialist" and unpatriotic and unAmerican.I am a moderate with leanings toward the old Republican party that didn't pander to the ultra conservatives who try to silence everyone who doesn't agree with them with ridicule and name-calling. Its getting old, all of this poison and it is hurting our country.

boycott the sponsers

Why keep hate on the air. No one has ever said publicly

they hope the president will fail. We can agree to

disagree but when we fail to give a president a chance

we are no longer democratic. REMEMBER: President Obama

did not make this mess (BUSH). President Obama was not

for the war (BUSH). President Obama did not increase

the deficit (BUSH). Give the man a chance. If you can't

help with solutions then don't give him more problems.

I suggest we stop buying the products of sponsors of

hate shows like Limbaugh. Some people love decension.

Limbaugh delivers it. We need to pull together not

apart. We all have our opinion, but only one man runs

the country. Give him a chance.

Is it good to allow the world see us squabblng over, "I hope the President fails?" Stop the madness. The people who helped cause this mess are now trying to make it hard for this administration to get us out of it.

If anyone in congress or the republican spokesman (Limbaugh) has ideas, they should send them to the President. What happened to pulling together. It's almost like "WOW".

Limbaugh said it, it's almost like THEY WANT HIM TO FAIL!!!

Go figure. The republicans took a hard blow and are fighting back the best they know how. They think being passive and not helping the President will prove they were right and the

American people were wrong. At what cost? OUR FUTURE.

Steel and Limbaugh started this. Leave it were it started.

Dont' try to put blame on the president because the republicans are still falling on their face. The Democrates may have took advantage of this mess but it started on the republican end. So give the Republicans the credit they deserve.

Lets stop this. Forget about parties and restore this country to its greatness. And if a black man leads us back there, then

God Bless him.

People like Limbaugh and Sarah Palin make me nervous. The things they say could encourage groups like KKK and skin heads to repeat crimes that were committed when I was a child.

This time, we will not lay down and die.

If President Obama succeeds, then let it be on his merits. If he fails, let it be on his own merits. But don't put your liberal foot, or democratic foot, or conservative foot, or republican foot, on his neck to make sure he fails. Every white President has been given a chance with less static. Now that a black President is in office we realize by what Limbaugh said that ...........Slavery just has another color......Prejudice has another suit..........begitry..........is in another building. When can we really say with complete conviction:

FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WE ARE FREE AT LAST. DO WHAT IS RIGHT DESPITE HIS COLOR

We have lived with the policies of 43 white presidents, and we gave them a chance. Now leave him alone. We are praying for him.
