I'm very glad to find your update on Socks. Especially when all anyone can talk about is all the dogs who have resided in the White House. Long live Socks!

Socks

I love Socks. I wish him well. My cat, Sir Uncas Maxwell Clark (aka MAX) died recently at 18 years old. I can appreciate having Socks around for so long..

I am glad to hear Socks is alive and well. My cat Maynard is a Black-and-White American shorthair, also 18½, and also has a touch of hyperthyroidism. I will keep Socks in my thoughts and reflect on the fact that he got along with the White House press corps a lot better than George Bush's dog Barney...
