Speling

Check your dictionary. "Forego" is the second meaning of "forgo," alternate spelling for "forego."

One thing the military does very, very well, is proofread. This card was probably reviewed a dozen times before it was sent out and each word checked more than twice.

Spelling

Either spelling is OK. Is that the substance of your comments?

obama's coronation

This is nothing. obama's coronation will surely bankrupt Washington D. C.. His adage that people should do without and with less only applies to us and not him and his family (remember michelle ordered a $445 afternoon snack of expensive champagne, Iranian caviar and lobster - the receipt has been posted elsewhere) . Instead of spending tens of millions of dollars so he can look down his nose and you and wag his clenched hand with pointing finger, he should have a small swearing in and use that money to help the people of the United States that are out of jobs because of lay-offs or will lose their jobs (I am not talking about those that can but don't want to work)

But no, I doubt the emperor will consider helping the people he is supposed to be WORKING for. I doubt it very much. His ego is so large (remember the Grecian columns) that nothing but hundreds and thousands of people on bended knee will suit him.

What a shame.

Forego and Forgo

Back to school for reader 100 of MA

Both forego and forgo can be used

Re: can't spell

Actually both "forego" and "forgo" are correct.

washington cutbacks

I wish Congress would, " turn off the power to the printing presses" for all money they are giving away on the "bail out".

This will Get Worse and Worse

Under Barney Frank and Obama, military spending will decrease by 25% while at the same time China military budget will exceed ours for the first time by 2010. And at the same time we are fighting two wars, so that the budget should increase, not decrease.

The politicians as usual have made a mess of things - it is truly ironic that Frank, who caused the economic crisis by insisting that banks give out loans to those who couldn't afford to pay them (and resisting any checks on Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac), is now going to be responsible for the gutting of the military and making us dangerously weak.

Thanks Massachusetts for giving us two class acts, both of whom were responsible for the mess we have today: drunken murderer Ted Kennedy, responsible for the immigration mess, and Barney Frank, (the guy with the male prostitutes) responsible for the economic mess.

Did they cancel Bush's inaguration pary? I don't think so. Why should they cancel Obama's? Are you just sour that Obama's inaguration is attracting the most attention out of all of the others? Don't hate, just congratulate!

buy reader a disctionary

reader...before you correct someone else, maybe you need to buy a dictionary?

can spell

"forego" is the proper spelling, actually.
