Not all "Chicago Style" is deep dish.
There is a Chicago thin crust pizza. Aurelio's is one place that serves a great thin crust in this style. Thin, almost crackery crust, square cut with lots of sauce and toppings. From the picture, I'd say that's it.

Mushy Pizza
I believe the MUSHY refers to all the oil the thick Chicago pizza floats in when its baked in the Greasy pan. Dont care too much for Obama but we agree on Pizza
Deep Dish
is nearly always mushy on top. That is actually one of its charms.

WTF does that mean? I have never had MUSHY deep dish pizza in Chicago. Clearly, the credibility of the "journalist" is in question.
