If Hucakabee is right and there really are that many ignorant Americans out there wallowing in his brand of superstitious claptrap then we really are doomed as a nation. I cant speak for the GOP but as far as my vote is concerned, as long as they are anti science, anti civil rights, and unable to speak pragmatically about issues like abortion and birth control, the Democrats will always be the lesser of two evils for rational, educated Americans.

I voted for Huckabee in the New York primary.Mike's tax plan would finally give tax relief to the middle-class. As a Baptist minister, Huckabee is the only conservative who could appeal to the African-American community.

Huckabee is so bigoted he can't even help himself. He is too stupid to realize that the only thing in his book anyone cares about is the few paragraphs on Romney. Huckabee can barely contain his jealously of everything Romney has: wealth, an education, intelligence . . . a family that weighs less than a 747. Huckabee is a painful reminder that overweight, inbred, redneck, fools still proliferate in the midwest, where they reduce the whole party.

Mike Huckabee: A Poor Choice
I have to agree with Tom H of NY. It appeared that Mike's only support came from the Evangelical Christians (EC) who were convinced that Mitt Romney was evil!?! His "feigned ignorance" of Mitt Romney's religion (Tammy) scared enough voters in Iowa to stage an uninformed, last minute victory in that state. How sad, looking back over the past two months as Obama & McCain campainged pretending to know something about fixing our economy! At least McCain might have had a chance if the EC hadn't scared him away from selecting Mitt Romney as Vice President! I wonder if four years of Obama, Peloci, and Reid's complete control of the White House and Congress isn't the "evil" the EC (all Americans) should have feared!?! It is the evil I feared...
To me it seems like Mike Huckabee knows that he could never win the Presidential Election and he doesn't care. His only purpose is to keep Mitt Romney from winning! It only took Mitt Romney a few months to clean-up (all of the corruption) and financially turn around the 2002 Olympics! It only took President Elect Obama two or three days to announce that he can't keep all of his campaing promises. We need economic experienced Leaders to help us out of this crisis. Let's all keep that in mind as we reflect on how we cast our votes in both the Primary and General Election.
It is my hope that in 2012 we will have someone with comperable experience as Mitt Romney to run for President. No matter what his or her faith is I'll support them and I hope you will too! Our founding fathers formed this country based on religious freedom and we should still have that freedom of religion!

Huckabee won in Iowa last time because he distorted Romney's record and told Evangelical Christians that they would go to hell if they voted for a Morman.
Republicans will lose big in 2012 if they flirt with Huckabee again. While he may seem folksy in speech, he is down right dirty when it comes to his intellectual integrity and honesty.
Mike's vision won't reach past the Evangelical Christian pews, because he's just a showman. He's a two-bit stage performer, who most moderates and liberals see as a closet creationist who believes the earth is 6000 years old.
Huckabee can never be present because he does not have broad appeal among Americans.He can't raise money to run a nationwide campaign. It's time for Mike to stop perpetrating the fraud that he could.
