As this year comes to a close Americans are feeling the chill of the cold.

Politicians are having parties, slapping backs, and raising salaries.

Through all the dismal predictions of our near future we the people keep pushing forward.

Separation of class continues to last with greed and power it’s driving force.

A struggle for control of the new era is at hand, we the people must take a stand.

One voice is not enough it has to be all of us. Why can’t the politicians see they are no different from you or me. If only they would choose to remember life's one true mystery “love”. As the quote reads “ You may posses many gifts and talents yet love is the greatest gift, without it you are nothing more than an empty clanging cymbal".

We the people must see through the crowd of ignorance, never becoming bitter, seeing the bigger picture. Our eyes forever focused on one goal “preserving America’s legacy and future”. Coming into a refreshed awareness that we the people have always been the true legacy and future of America. Looking to the up and coming administration giving them our confidence and support. Finding faith deep down towards Obama though not all of us a believer in him at first. A smart man with deep consideration and compassion. What a huge load he will carry as the first African American president. He cannot just be good, he must be great. This gives little room for mistakes. Leaving us to believe he has a full heart and clear vision of a great future for America.

Yes, night is around us and will be for a bit longer. Yet morning is closing in to bring us light, warmth, and laughter. Let us all band together politicians included because simply one cannot be without the other. Working together for the good of all, no time for fighting or big egos, instead be humble since pride caused our recent fall. Obama we need a leader by example. Don’t mix into the crowd be a man who stands out. Make every decision from your inner guide to wrong and right. If you lead us with honor and integrity America will follow. Integrity is the preservative so greatly lacking in our country without it how lost are we? May God bless you and all of America today, tomorrow, and forever. Goodnight and it will be a Good Morning knowing Americans are consistently pushing forward.

A Michigan Senior Citizen spending over $90,000.00 in Lawyer fee's and Exspense, should not have to hire (9) Alabama Lawyer to handle his case and received unjustifiable treament in return.

I remember when he came through the research institute where I was interning as a graduate student. My thesis advisor was pleasantly surprised by Gore's thoughfulness and the intelligent and perceptive questions he asked about the research.

Some changes

I love the idea of Gore as climate czar, and Dean as head of HHS. I'm surprised that Clinton isn't mentioned as a contender for Sec of State despite the fact that it looks like she's all but been offered the post (though I hope she declines and it goes to Richardson). We could use her in the senate and then (just maybe *fingers crossed*) on the Supreme court. I do want to make a case for an EdSec nominee (which I've posted before on USNews but here it is again).

I think that Brown's president Ruth Simmons should be at the top of the Education list. She's also historic (the first black--and female at that--university president, and then ivy league president), she's done amazing things for the University (uncovered its ties to slavery and redefined the way the university should engage with its students and the community at large, launched the University's largest and most successful fund raising campaign, brought the University back from mishandled previous administrations, etc.), she had similar successes at Smith and was courted by Harvard for her successes. She's been named woman of the year, best college president by Time, and she's encouraged several visits by Obama to Brown in the past. What has Powell done in the area of education other than make some obvious statements about what needs to be changed?

Obama court hearing to focus on actions of Hawai'i officials, need for disclosure

Preliminary Statement

When this case was filed on October 17, 2008, the status of the document to which Plaintiff was seeking access was one involving intense political curiosity. Today, the underlying principles of this lawsuit have irretrievably morphed: the status of the document sub judice has now become a part of American history. Plaintiff's right to examine the original 1961, typewritten document—now a crucial record of American history—has become overwhelmingly stronger.

Therefore, for the reasons that follow in this Memorandum, this Court at the hearing on November 18th must apply the legal principles applicable to access to historical documents.

I.

The birth certificate and efforts to

manipulate the birth certificate

A. Barack Hussein Obama (hereinafter "Obama") was apparently born in Honolulu in August, 1961. HHHHe may have been born elsewhere and had his birth registered in Honolulu. We do not know.

B. The State of Hawai'i generated a typewritten Certificate of Live Birth ("COLB") for Mr. Obama in 1961. There may have also been a separate document issued by the hospital, if he was born in a hospital, certifying to the birth. These documents collectively will be referred to as the "birth certificate." We know that the 1961 document is in existence because defendant Fukino claimed on October 31st that she had examined the document, see Exhibit A.
