Washington Whispers by Paul Bedard

He's the President-Elect Already but Obama's Still Raising Money

They raised $640 million, breaking records all the way. But victory for the Obama-Biden ticket doesn't mean an end to fundraising for the Chicago crew. Now, the winners want their supporters to thank the Democratic National Committee for all the work Howard Dean and his team did to turn the country blue. We just received an E-mail offering a cool Victory T-shirt, seen above, for $30. "The Democratic National Committee poured all of its resources into building our successful 50-state field program. And they played a crucial role in helping Barack win in unlikely states like North Carolina and Indiana," says the E-mail. "The DNC took on considerable debt to make this happen," it adds. So, as a thank you, and to build on those victories in the upcoming 2010 elections, it's time to pay off that debt. The Obama-Biden E-mail is actually a sign of gratitude by the campaign to the DNC and outgoing Chairman Dean, something the Democrats did not offer in 2006 when, with Dean's help, they took control of Congress.

Just like the Democrats..spend first and think about how to pay later.

This is how Obama ran his campaign and presumably the country.

Change..that's exactly what you'll have left in your pocket when these guys get through with you.

Believe it!

Raising "MORE MONEY! Not again.

Brace yourself---the party of hypocrites, spouting capitalist ideas as no good, then here they are doing what is necessary to build wealth. Tell me if this is not double-faced Chicago politics on the roll.

When is he gona give back

Yes, he his the first African-American President, but damn you all still having fund raiser,I NEED some tickets for January 20,2009 (LOL)
