Washington Whispers by Paul Bedard

United Nations Diplomats for Barack Obama

They can't vote, but if the foreign diplomats in New York for the opening of the United Nations General Assembly late last month could do so, they'd go for Sen. Barack Obama. They see him as a fresh start after 9/11 led to sour relations with world capitals. Many of the diplomats tuned into the race closely for the first televised debate between Obama and GOP Sen. John McCain. "There's no question most people here want to see Barack Obama win," says a senior U.N. diplomat. "Obama is an American story. He generates excitement that he will put America back on the right path." Of McCain? "You hear a lot of references to McCain being old and militaristic," says the diplomat, who still threw Mac a bone. "McCain is a real friend of the world when it comes to climate change."

Foreign Diplomats agree on Obama

Good to know they will be and are accepting of Pres....er, Sen.Obama, for I'm certain he will win the election. Bodes well for boosting our American image in other countries too, as we have been severly tarnished over the last 8 years. Agree with the diplomats, Obama will be fresh air!

Finally

Finally a president people will respect and consider intelligent. America IS BACK!

Domestic and Foreign Relations - Obama is our man

I've done my homework; I've studied records. I've reviewed left, right, and neutral newspapers, websites, columns, and blogs. I support attorneys in litigation matters so evidence is important to me. In addition, I'm from the Show Me State, and do not vote along party lines. I was undecided for a while, but not anymore. All the evidence points to one viable candidate this election season - Barack Obama. I feel so blessed and privileged to be a part of this man's honorable election to the White House!
