Joey Pants Watches Palin Speech

September 04, 2008 02:57 PM ET | Paul Bedard | Permanent Link | Print

What a scene at last night's GOP convention, where Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin accepted the vice presidential nomination. There was tons of McCain trinkets to buy, signs to wave, and Fox News Channel provided hats to the convention-goers. The press were provided phones that were stamped with the convention emblem and we caught actor Joey Pants — aka Joey Pantoliano — taking in Palin's speech.

Hats

Did Fox News provide hats at the DNC? If not, would that make them less "fair and balanced?"

Sure she gave a good speech...she can read! She was a journalism magor (went to 6 schools before she graduated --dont know why),and she was a sportscaster.

I know a number of people in my small town that I would feel more comfortable with than Sarah Palin as VP. She left her little town of 5,000 deeply in debt--with a new sports complex--nice, but the town didn't even have public sewer! Talk about priorities. I could go on and on.
