what's your point?

that Republicans shouldn't bother trying to raise money? That money they raise isn't worthy of being reported on?

I think the victims of the hurricane will happily accept all money, regardless of party affiliation.

Chump Change

While the Republican Party was trying to raise $13,000, Obama's campaigned text messaged two million contributors to his campaign to immediately donate $5 via text and then call the Red Cross to donate directly. I donated $5 via text and $250 directly, so it is easy to see Obama's supporters could raise $13,000 quickly without support from corporate sponsors like the Distilled Spirits, Us News, etc.
