Conservatives Say It Should Be Palin vs. Ferraro, Not Obama-Biden

I am amazed just how hypocritical the Democrats are. Do you think Bill Clinton, governor of a small state had a great deal, if any, foreign relations experience before he was elected President? I don't think so. As stated in the previous article, Geraldine Ferraro did not have experience in foreign relations either. As a woman myself, I am sickened by the petty and bitchy comments that have come from the mouths of Democratic women this week about Sarah Palin. You women are a disgrace!

Comparing Palin Ferraro

Don't miss the focus of the comparison! It isn't necessarily about either person. It IS about how the media protrays them. When Geraldine ran in 84 the press praised her and it was a huge step for women around the country! Palin won't get the kind of praise Ferraro did simply because she is in the wrong party! Frankly I am ashamed of the women supporting dems negative reaction, oh wait, no I'm not!

Largest state in the union?!?!

As the resident of a state with an economy that - if ranked as an independent state - would rank in the global top ten and a population fifty times greater than that of Alaska, I take serious issue with the suggestion that Alaska is "the largest state in the union". It is certainly the most spacious (and the most sparse), but calling it the "largest state" is quite a stretch.

It also bears noting -- although I never hear this from the people who suggest that governing the state with the greatest area constitutes some sort of indication of experience -- that about 65% of Alaskan lands are federally controlled. The 35% of the state that is actually administered by the State of Alaska is still a large swath of territory (about 600,000 square km), but less than the area of Texas.

That said, it remains silly to use territorial size as a means of assessing the "largest state". Can you imagine describing cities in these terms? According to the same logic, Scranton is a larger city than Taipei, Little Rock is a larger city than Calcutta, and Chattanooga is a larger city than Beijing.

Are you nuts?

"Frankly, I'm appalled that the same party that was questioning Obama's patriotism because of his race can cry sexism at every drop of a dime."

Who in the Republican party has questioned Obama's patriotism because of his race? I'd like a name. Or a specific ad. The only people who mention Obama's race are the Obama people.

Conservatives???

So this represents Conservatives as calling for this??? Conservatives are also calling for Obama to explain his ties to Bill Ayers. More to come on that later, you can count on it!

Can't wait for the Biden/Palin debate!!

Who cares about this comparison.

NO matter how you spin it/chop it/dice it/splice it - it's obviously a pathetic shallow ploy, a distraction, to sway Hillary supporters and for Republicans to stab anyone who shoots down a woman in debate.

Being a woman, it's insulting that we would "fall" for this crap. HIllary will have her chance. Please.. she's not over. Picking Palin on such a clearly superficial basis is COMPLETELY transparent and my hope is most women (as stated above) won't fall for it either.

Geraldine Who?

This will be the question voters born in 1984 and afterward will be asking. Sarah Palin accused Hillary Clinton of "whining" during the primary (video on YouTube). Who's "whining" now? However, her selection is an indictment on John McCain's judgment and his thought process or rather lack of.

Wow, what a great comparison

Except that Palin is on the ticket this year, and Ferraro isn't.

ooops....FAIL

McFail/Failin' 08!

Sexism

Real Reason why McCain chose Palin : Sexist and condescending

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apdFC-vh6Ng

Also his poor record of voting against equal pay for women and opposing Equal Roles for Women in the Military

should be the business of American women voters.

Comparing Palin

I find that the media comparing Obama to Palin is quite interesting. That is mostly what I'm seeing. The only reason that

makes since to explain that would be there similar time/experience levels.

Wasn't it Obama who chose a running mate that would be a good 'mentor'? I feel that our president, should BE the mentor (not be in need of one).

Also, should be above the caliber of the vice president.

I hope that our nation can figure out that while Obama may be an intelligent man, ie seems evedent that he does not yet have enough life experience to effectively be our leader. Maybe next time.

Bobbles Poll: President for Life?

Bill Clinton Bobblehead, Washington Whispers

Bill Clinton recently said that he wished he could have stayed president until they carted him away in a coffin or he lost reelection. Looking back, would you have voted Clinton into a third term against George W. Bush in 2000?
