Was Dan Rather there as a Reporter or delegate?
Wow
How cool it is to see former prez contenders like Dukkakis, Carter and McGovern there.
One of the few times and places they are :ordinary" people. I was impressed that Carter passed on speaking and by doing so couldn't be used by McCain and the republicans.
If it wasn't for Carter and others Obama wouldn't have been the nominee. Carter's support for blacks and his appointments of minorities made a huge diference for all Americans.
