We'll Soon Know if Romney Is McCain's Vice President, but It's Not Portman

Palin is a real winner (for the Democrats)
McCain is flailin' and failin' with Sarah Palin.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Wow. She says she was in the Wasilla Alaska PTA, and her husband rides a SNOWMOBILE. Impressive. THE CHINESE WILL RESPECT THAT.
She become governor of Alaska due to a fluke, the incumbent Republican was corrupt and despised, and CAME IN 4TH IN HIS OWN PRIMARY. Murkowski, that's the guy who APPOINTED HIS OWN DAUGHTER AS US SENATOR when he was governor. Another great Republican.
What the Hell, she will learn on the job, like Bush did. Bush, ha! $4 trillion added to the debt, an attack on the US allowed to happen, a war based on lies, refusal to build better levees in New Orleans, tho warned in 2001, resulting in thousands of deaths. Bush doubled illegal immigration AFTER 9/11, tho all 19 hijackers were here illegally. But Bush is a Texan, and a Republican, and that's all that matters, RIGHT? Could Palin really be any worse than Bush, if the 72-year-old McCain's health problems and disabilities catch up to him?
One thing I will say about Republicans: they are slow learners. And they have LOW standards.
Good luck in November!
Romney (FINALLY!)
Each and every election I find myself asking, "Are these the best people we can find?". This time, with Mitt Romney, I finally see someone with the experience and intelligence to be an effective and strong leader. Finally someone willing to share his talents in public service.
As for the religous bigotry, all the mormans I have known have been hard working, family valued, community minded, and service oriented. Is this a bad thing?
Mitt
Romney is not the perfect pick. He's a huge flip-flopper, a mormon and looks phoney. Sarah Palin would be theperfect choice...the evangelicals love her, the fiscal conservatives love her...and SHE'S A WOMAN!!! If McCain is smart enough to pick her he'll probably win in November.
Flip Flops
Ok - he was Pro Choice then he became a Pro Life?
So how is that a bad thing?
You would give him more kudos if it was the other way round and the flip flopper would never come up. If you want a real flip flopper to hurl this tage at look no further then Obama who has been all over the place.
Mitt
Mitt is OK, but don't forget he comes off like a stereotypical car salesman (slick) and his Mormon beliefs are not in line with intellectual timber. Why not Sarah Palin? She is also bright and energetic and covers the woman angle with Hillary's folks, balances family and career, and it prolife WITH a Downs syndrome child - compassion with morality. Plus, setting up a woman alternative to Hillary for 2012 with an expected one term would get LOTS of people on the bandwagon.
Consider Sarah
Romney would be an acceptable choice, but I'd urge people to consider Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska. She's in her 40s, a true conservative, an NRA member, pro-life (just gave birth to a Down Syndrome baby, and abortion was NEVER on the table) she's pro-energy - just pushed a natural gas pipeline through the Alaskan Legislature - and brings a vitality and vigor to the ticket that the "Grey Men" (Portman, Pawlenty, others) just couldn't match! GOOGLE "Draft Sarah" and help the cause!
The time is now!
Everyone:
McCain is just minutes away from picking his running mate.
Please let it be Romney. He would be the perfect choice!
He has speaking ability(important vs. Biden), would carry plenty of states in November, and is a favorite amoung conservatives.
I love seeing the democrats squirm with Obama and Biden. McCain and Romney look so much more formidable, intelligent, and responsible.
Does anyone know when McCain will make his choice?
MCCAIN/ROMNEY in 2008 and 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Energize!
If (and hopefully when( McCain picks Romney, it will FIRE UP the Republicans as they haven't been fired up since the primaries. I'm sitting onthe edge of my seat, waiting to give my time, talents, and money to the campaign if Romney is on the ticket! The quote from the finance advisor is dead on with his analysis as to why Romney is by FAR the best choice. I might add that Romney also did well or won in Nevada, Missouri, New Hampshire, and Florida, along with the mentioned Colorado and Michigan. Those are the state he needs!
McCain, Romney 08! Romney 2012!
Mitt has mucho houses....
And no "get out of jail free" card to play...
No Mitt for me
If McCain picks Romney or any other pseudo-conservative, I'm not voting for the ticket. McCain still has a chance to get my vote but not with a Romney pick. Romney is not a conservative and I don't trust him.
A lot of evangelicals will not vote for a Romney ticket. It would encourage the Mormons too much and raise the LDS church in stature. This could have consequences far more devastating and long-lasting than tax rates, borders or even wars.
