We'll Soon Know if Romney Is McCain's Vice President, but It's Not Portman

I am with you, poster up there. I would love for Condoleeza Rice for VP. For one thing, she knows how to think, troubleshoot, and I know this doesn't matter, but she actually knows how to dress. What is wrong with a nice professional suit with a skirt? If you ask me, as a woman, Condoleeza knows how to dress.
Romney a great selection
Romney has many fine qualities that would be a boon for a Republican ticket. After observing each of the major candidates who are possibly being considered by McCain as his running mate, I've concluded that Romney is outstanding and hope McCain chooses him.
Huckabee is the man for the job!
Rasmussen reports national poll said the majority of Americans want Mike Huckabee. Mitt Romney would be great in McCain's cabinet but not VP. Huckabee supporters are dedicated and are waiting for the word from McCain to energize the party.
Rice or Powell? Or Romney?
I am an Ango Male, 45, and I would have voted for Rice over any of those in the field today, based upon her international and national Security experience, her extremely well-respected educational credentials, and her obvious ability to address high stress and delicate situations. Colin Powell would get my vote, too, over many others, as I think he could beat Obama hands down, over and over. If McCain were to pick one of them it may not energize the anti-black caucus, but it would add intellect and experience to an already experienced ticket!!!!
Romney gets my vote
Romney gets my vote for the McCain camp. In what ways is Romney not qualified? He has proven himself on so many fronts, both in his personal life and in private and government enterprises. The guy is an all-around faboulous, intelligent, effective and fair man. With Mitt, McCain gets my vote and my money.
personality cult?
Aural, what exactly is a personality cult? And, why is it so hard to believe that good christians and people who live in the South would support Romney? I'm not a "Romney-bot." I'm just an american citizen who is extremely concerned about our country and dismayed by the prospect of voting for someone who (I feel) doesn't exactly epitomize conservative values. Romney would make my choice clear. A choice I feel I could make with a clear conscience.
Mitt
I have lived in MA almost my entire life. I won't go through the reasons for his changes of heart on abortion, etc. He knows them better than I do! But he did keep his promises to us as Governor, to a legalistic standpoint. And knowing that the legislature (90% democrat) would overturn any/all vetoes at will was not easy. Fiscally, he did a terrific job.
I don't think Huckabee should be considered for veep. Mitt might have won if Huckabee had not interfered and told his followers, "OOOOH, EVIL MORMON!" Huckabee as veep would solidify all the left's fears of religious conservatism, and stupidity - and many independent's fears too. What I don't understand is why the country is going backwards. When Mitt's dad ran for President nobody even mentioned his religion. Now, it's skin color, sex, religion, and age. My, my.
Mitt is a solid choice for vp. McCain could do worse. Much worse. Pawlenty who? Huckabee? You know what I think. Powell? I doubt he'd accept, he'd probably be insulted. Just another whitey playing the race card. Palin? Yeah, she's a woman who could pull in a lot of Hillary voters, but she's also being investigated for abuse of power in Alaska and has even less experience then Obama. Mitt comes from business, is known as a reformer from the olympics and has governed a hostile state. He can pull CO, MI, UT. He is what we need.
I will vote McCain, because we can't afford Obama.
McCain, Romney
McCain and Romney make a great pair, I will back them one hundred percent!
clearly
mitt will win it for the reds!
read that article one more time and you'll see all the clear reason why mitt must be the veep!
economics, charisma, obedience, and swing states!
Mitt for Vee[
I will vote for McCain because Obama will be a repeat of Carter. I don't want to go back to 13% interest or 55 mph speed limits. But, I won't get excited about McCain or donate money if Mitt isn't the VP pick. I donated to Mitt and will donate again if he is on the ticket. I'll even do the yard sign and bumper sticker!
