Obama Veep Peeps

Obama is Biden his time in hopes of a Bayh!

The Indianan might be out because of his wife's corporate board seats.

Does Biden help in PA? Maybe.

A surprise wouldn't be surprising, IMO.

Obama's choice for vice presidential running mate should be.....

HILLARY CLINTON. Please Mr. Obama choose Hillary for your running mate. Thank you.

Obama's VP

I believe he'll pick a surprise Catholic.

The List (in order of state electoral votes)

>Anthony Zinni, Retired General, Pennsylvania: 21 electoral votes, Catholics are 29.4% of the population

>Phil Bredesen, Governor of Tennessee: 11 electoral votes, Catholics are 3.2% of the population

>James Doyle, Governor of Wisconsin: 10 electoral votes, Catholics are 29% of the population

>Bill Ritter, Governor of Colorado: 9 electoral votes, Catholics are 14.7% of the population

>Joe Manchin, Governor of West Virginia: 5 electoral votes, Catholics are 4.6% of the population

>John Lynch, Governor of New Hampshire: 4 electoral votes, Catholics are 24% of the population

Veep Choice Early Next Week?

It would be disastrous for Obama to pick his neighbor to the east in Indiana, Sen. Bayh. He needs to admit that if it were not for the "super delegates" and Democratic Party bosses who are the most of them, Hillary Clinton would be the nominee since she received more actual votes from the people. I guess the Dems are going back to the "smoke filled rooms" from Tammany Hall and the Chicago Mob days and will pick him and someone who is so obscure that no one will care. However, Hillary Clinton should be at least at the top or give her the VP post. After all of that, let me say I am a conservative Republican. John McCain certainly is not my first choice for the Republicans. He needs to really be a "maverick" and a "change maker" and enter the convention and announce that he is withdrawing from the Presidential race and throw the nomination open to the convention with the understanding he would be the Vice President for one term only as an expert in foreign affairs, a sort of Secretary of State At Large as well as his duties presiding over the Senate. He has excellent experience in the Senate and works with both parties and knows its functions well.

5 voting groups

Youths are sick and tired with the old same policies swirled over and over in facets. This old war-hungry Republican candidate lacks inspiration and is a follower in everything he does.McCain is waiting for Obama to take a move and he criticize. That is the old man's game.a DULL AND UNCREATIVE PRESIDENT is not what the American people need.We need WELL PLANNED CHANGE.Only uncreative and uninspirational old folks will fear change. This old man has no substance and is a misfit even as a Republican nominee. Is there no better choice who can match up with Obama with his Pioneering well calculated policies on issues that matter. That old man seems to suffer from severe memory retardment.Let him go for some better idea other than negative ads showing off is wasting ability. The youths are with Obama because that is the enthusiasm that is driving them to register as voters.OBAMA has the experience both for foreign policy and internal issues. It has been demonstrated for all to see.He knows what to do next that will draw all the press coverage to him. That is the kind of President that America MUST NOT MISS,FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.VOTERS SIT UP TO REASON.

maz hess

If mccain would chose a woman for vp and obama not it would be major desaster for the democrats so barack is forced to chose kathleen sebelius for vp.

Names Matter?

Bane... you care about what the names sound like together? Really?

Wow. Bayh and Thune. How exciting. Two Senators picking two more Senators. What about Retired Tony Zinni or some one from the private sector. Do they really put any thought in to this?

THUNE... what kind of name is that... also, Obama and Bayh just sounds silly

McCain picking a woman for show is predictable. It is possibly the reason McCain just yesterday began apologizing for the idea of possibly picking someone pro-choice.

I hope Obama knows what he's doing. Hillary is a drag several ways. But losing the election to a trick is a bigger drag.

Who is Bigfoot endorsing?

They found Big Foot, And you will never guess what candidate he is supporting. Wow I figured he would be a libertarian. http://www.myhauntsite.com

Bobbles Poll: President for Life?

Bill Clinton Bobblehead, Washington Whispers

Bill Clinton recently said that he wished he could have stayed president until they carted him away in a coffin or he lost reelection. Looking back, would you have voted Clinton into a third term against George W. Bush in 2000?
