Hillary Clinton or Cindy McCain? Whatever—It's Still Funny

What's a female political impersonator and comedian supposed to do when her bread and butter—Sen. Hillary Clinton—drops out of the presidential race? Rosemary Watson moved to the next logical political star: Cindy McCain. "It wasn't easy at all," Watson says. "To go from a size 10 to a zero took hours of training a day. Fortunately, though, as Cindy Hensley McCain, I have more money and more time than Hillary, so it was achievable," she jokes to our Suzi Parker. Impersonating McCain is different from impersonating Clinton, says Watson, because Cindy is more of a mystery woman. "Eight out of the 10 comments I get about Cindy start off with, 'Well, I don't really know her that well and don't know what she sounds like. . . .' So right there my job is made easier. Obviously, I want the impersonation to be a true as possible, but at least at this point in the game, it doesn't have to be as spot-on to work." But then there's the wardrobe, and materials like leather. "As a longtime vegetarian, I don't really love wearing leather, but . . . with Cindy, I am probably going to have to put my morals aside and buy some cow at some point," she says. "She's got a lot of leather coats, but that's OK. There is room in my closet right next to my blue pantsuit and matching beads."

Watson says that she misses having the chance to be "President Hillary" but finds that her Hillary is still in demand. And she expects to play a side role at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Check out Watson's latest videos.

Rosemary is Rich Little in a Dress!

I too am appalled that the 'Big Media' has not signed her to a deal. She is multi talented, pretty and does the WORLDS BEST Hillary impersonation. Her act is simply brilliant and CLEAN! She gives her Hillary character a human side that makes the other wannabes look pathetic. Thanks for spreading the word!

Some things are so puzzling

OK, I've been tracking this gal for sometime now, 1st her Hillarys and now her Cindys. I simply don't understand why she and her talents are not rewarded more. Is she a threat to the already established sketch comedy-ers out there? She has the best, hands down, Hillary I've ever seen and I've seen MANY. Now her Cindy videos are out and there. They are the polar opposite to the Hillarys. Equally as good, so fun and fun to watch. I'm glad your publication has caught up with her. Are Sat. Nite Live and those other shows simply not aware of this woman, and, if not, why not? As smart as this woman's comedy is is as smart as she needs to be about her visibility. She's the whole package, she's beautiful, skinny, smart, great impersonator, she sings and I think even plays the piano too! Now if she can hula, well, then, that's it. Too bad I'm not in the entertainment industry, I'd snatch her up and make her a star...that would my claim to fame too! Rosemary, if you're reading this and you ever get to Iowa, I'd love to take you out for a beer.

Rosemary rocks!

Rosemarys' videos throughout the election primaries have been hilarious! her Hilary impersonations are off the wall.

She's super talented and we need more people to bring levity to the whole process.

I wish we'd see more of her on something like Saturday Night Live or the like.

Keep making us laugh!
