McCain-Romney 2008

Mitt..... Romney.

Carly, A Visionary Communicator, my ***

rolf, heard this one before.

Of the folks that I know from HP, one that directly reported to her.... she wasn't worth her weight in (take your pick).

Visionary compared to who... Dave Packard & Bill Hewlett.

Sorry I just don't agree that non-tech people have any bussiness running tech businesses. Why, cause they run'm to the ground. It was nice when IT folks had DEC/ Compaq / HP and others to choose from for their hardware. Now we have Dell & HP (which is compaq's line of crap - yes it's junk, I've not bought any servers or workstations from HP since 2000). And of course I don't know the woman personally, but I don't also see where she's a great visionary... and neither do many many long time, extremely bright, past & present employees of HP.

On with the flame,

Carly, A Visionary Communicator

Dell is in the process of being knocked out of second place by HP; the idiots had her fired, advocating staying stuck in Printers only. The R& D, the investment in Innovation, the taking over of Compaq - ALL insisted on by Carly, resulted in temporary confidence loss during the Tech Bubble Bust - loss in confidence by those who do not understand value investing that is, but she remade the corporation to her credit and its potential. As Hurd continued to keep Carly's changes, the revamped corporation is now knocking out the competition because he stuck with her changes. After she had gone, the board troubles all spilled out anew, complete in-fighting, including espionage etc - a wholly dysfunctional board, getting into trouble with the law - post Carly! She had nothing to do with the dysfunction at HP. As for you independent thinkers, go to Flora TV and get the story there by putting her in the search engine for her principled book, "Tough Choices." Fools mock and slander as they did with Galileo and Copernicus. Carly came out vindicated and with her head high, speaking of her renewed spiritual values. The corporate world is completely sexist - and liars still slander a good and capable visionary executive. She was and is a wonderful human being and communicator. The real executives that are incompetent had things given to them in inheritance; Carly worked her way from the bottom to the top by her gifts.

Too much for Fiorina

Before Forina can even talk about a position in McCain "office" , she and the entire campaign has to closely examine their role on issues concerning women. there is nothing for women, nothing for the poor, no economic plans; total disarray. She cannot advice his campaign appropriately , how can she advice the country? As is already predicted, McCains win will be another Bush term. fiorina is no help. I am surprised to hear her saying experience is not necessary when that is McCain's constant theme over Obama. Is she seeing McCain's experience as irrelevant and insignificant? The flipflopping continues with MCCain inconsistent disjointed economic plan that makes no sense. Isn't fiorina his economic advisor? What about his economic reform? There are no details to achieving this reform. Everything is concocted to get votes. Please don't insult the intelligence of the voters. It's just too much for both of you.

One more to consider

How about McCain choose about another Halliburton CEO to run as his VP? That has worked out real well for the last 8 years.

If you think this is a good idea... get help!

Ms Fiorina, is a joke.

She ruined what used to be a good company, of which numerous people owe their retirement to. Gutted it, Laid off thousands, and got a reward for it... a multi-million dollar reward. And I know all most folks that give a crap, simply care about the stock price. But to take an American institution and just make it a 'widgit' company is a joke.

Ms Fiorina had no business being the head of HP, and is simply another MBA that can do nothing... make nothing... and do nothing, but screw companies, just to keep the stock price intact.

Go for it McCain, would love to see here argue with the Veep of Obama's choice

Old Man Sweater

Is McCain really wearing an old man sweater? That's what it looks like in the picture. I have visions of retirement homes, with people shuffling around the front walkway, far away look in their eyes..

Umm, no

What if McCain should die in office (which, sadly, given his age there is a significant chance). I don't want someone like Fiorina with her hand on the nuclear triggers. She'd get mad at someone and launch 'em. Take that, meanie HP board members!!

VP PICKS

Put Condolezza Rice in the spot. Shes got it all.

Harold Jarnagin

Just Do It...

I feel it would be good for the country to have a non-politician along for the term. Having someone that is not connected in Washington would be a benefit. Having a leader that has lead a large global business, such as Carly would only be positive. I liked Carly when she was with HP & I think she could be an effective leader in politics. There is too much political red tape that crush politicians.
