All too easy....

Brilliant idea to highlight elitist aspects of biography that play into the hands of his opponents' narrative and do it on your own dime?

And why not give ME five minutes to talk down to you about the things I've never done and convince you I am expert in!

No seriously the schools are doing their job in this country!!!!!!

The Maturity of the Electorate

I continue to be amazed by the responses of many to comments made in the campaing. I am of the opinion that most responses are clouded by the responders' ideologies and have less to do with the content of the comments to which they respond.

I often wonder whether my understanding of the English Language is different from those who construe statements so diametrically different from me.

As a case in point, I am at a loss at the fuss made of the comments of General Wesley Clark. Nowhere in that statement does General Clark bellitle or demean Senator McCain"s military service to this country. The statement deals specifically with qualifications to lead this Nation. Will someone, therefore, tell me what the fuss is all about? Shouldn't the electorate be more mature and display a greater modicum of intelligence?

faith in democracy

While recognizing that a democratic type of social order is the best form devised thus far, we must also recognize that it is fundamentally flawed.

Democracy presupposes two situations, neither of which is valid in the real world:

1) that the majority of the electorate are well informed and reasonably rationale;

2) that the vast number of morons on the left are offset by the vast number of morons on the right, and the minority of well informed and reasonably rationale will determine the outcome.

March on to the election!!!
