White House Whinny at Saratoga
One of the most successful traveling White House exhibits is trotting into the glamorous Saratoga racing meet in August. "White House Horses," a display of pictures and info on famous equines used by presidents before cars, has added the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., July 2-October 31. "This is a very big deal," says Maria Downs of the hosting White House Historical Association. Typically, the group's exhibits hit just presidential and local libraries.
