Washington Whispers by Paul Bedard

For Chelsea, It's Eli

February 05, 2008 11:12 AM ET | Paul Bedard | Permanent Link | Print

Here's a link to where those pictures of Chelsea Clinton wearing New York Giants Eli Manning's jersey were taken. It's in the college town of Fayetteville, not Little Rock. Sorry about that. The saloon is called George's Majestic Lounge, voted by Playboy as one of the top 100 college bars in the nation.

You can tell that former first daughter Chelsea Clinton isn't running for office and doing what politicians do best—ducking questions about their favorite sports teams for fear of offending voters. Because in these two pictures, taken at a Little Rock Super Bowl party, she clearly has a favorite—winning New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
