McCain Goes Long With UCLA, Kansas

March 13, 2007 01:15 PM ET | Permanent Link | Print

Add Sen. John McCain to the growing fan base of UCLA's men's basketball team. In a rare move for a politician, the 2008 presidential candidate has published his March Madness brackets, and he puts UCLA and Kansas in the final.

Here, however, he chickens out–he doesn't pick a winner. But, still, you don't see that kind of sports confidence in a politician every day. His pick of UCLA for the final at the Georgia Dome is in sync with lots of other politicians, including Bill Clinton and James Carville, though Clinton's got a soft spot in his heart for alma mater Georgetown.

And the best part of the McCain website is that you can put in your own picks and get a chance at one of his cool fleece sweatshirts.
