L.A. chef to the stars Wolfgang Puck has a new thing for Washington. And not just because he has opened his latest restaurant, the Source, in the Newseum on Pennsylvania Avenue between the Capitol and White House. "Washington is a great place for restaurants because you have so many people coming from all over the world," he says, "plus the great museums. I'm actually very excited and cannot wait to take my kids there to visit the monuments. In a way it reminds me of Paris—no skyscrapers in the middle of town." One early Source fan: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She digs his duck, something he appreciates. "Duck is a good measure of restaurant quality: Duck is very difficult to cook," says Puck. He's not the only one hooked on Washington. Bro Claus, who works at the Source, is a fan of the city's Redskins, Wizards, and Capitals.
