Washington Whispers by Paul Bedard

Neil Cavuto as the 'Money Honey'

When Fox Business Network debuts this week, don't look for a "Money Honey" like CNBC's Maria Bartiromo. "I don't like being in that sex symbol role, but I've got to be it," FBN chief Neil Cavuto says. "Actually, I'm the Benny Hill of the network," he adds. That won't be the only change. Cavuto says the new Fox channel won't focus as much on market swings, instead looking at where the money is and goes and how politics matters. "This upcoming election really comes down to the role of government," he says, and every candidate's proposals will be put through the truth machine. "What we've got to be focused on like a laser beam is to get beyond the rhetoric and look at the dollars and cents," he says.
