Dean's 9/11 Debut Just Coincidence

In his last of a trilogy of books that detail Republican troubles, former Nixon counsel turned GOP critic John Dean artfully takes on the issue of government process, decrying media and politicians who ignore it. In fact, he begs voters to pick a president who's got some Washington experience so, he writes in Broken Government, "he or she will be better able to get down to the business of governing faster." So if process is so important, there must be some big meaning to his book being released in New York City on 9/11, right? Wrong. "It's just a day we publish books," says his publicist, adding: "It just coincidentally coincided."
