Excellent site. It was pleasant to me.

Great article

Does William Douglas even see how he sounds? He is basically saying that most black women are fat. Which brings about comments like the one above. Newsflash. There is an obseity problem in this country with whites, blacks, men, and women.

The lack of color in the liberal press corp doesn't surprise me. There has always been hypocrisy there. While it's certainly true that someone shouldn't be a reporter there just because he's black, one has to ask if the news organizations lacked the black talent. I don't think so. So what is the answer? I think you know.

Addressing African-American Female Weight Problems...

I thought we had Oprah to do that???

Now that you mention it, we need melanin-quotient quotas enforced across the board:

Hockey -- way too pale, plus not enough 100-pound Polynesians on the ice, body-checking their way to a shot-on-goal

NBA -- clearly too few caucasian, 5-foot-tall, 200-pounders racing down the court to execute graceful slam dunk leaps from the foul line

Horse racing -- a woeful shortage of ex-Sumo athletes seen riding their way the winner's circle (soon to be remedied once they start racing Clydesdales)

Perhaps their should be some kind of quota placed on the employment of quota advocates?

Racial Bias Is Rampant

Its true. Look how all professional, college and high school sports team are racist against white participants. Whites are way under represented in sports and this is clearly due to anti-white, institutional racism in America.

But liberals and Democrats love anti-white racism. They celibrate it. It just. Its what whitey deserves!

How many people thing the messiah will address this racial imbalance? Don't hold your breath!

Black Obesity

Obesity is the number one killer in America, and Black women are by far and away the highest percentage of obese americans. EVERY serious reporter should find this to be a good story. I find it absolutely hilarious that the white man who wrote this blog doesn't think obesity in black women is a story and yet at the same time doesn't think newsrooms need diversity. You proved that need yourself with you own lack of insight into the african american community. Thanks.

History

I agree that journalists need to be objective. However, this inauguration of the first black president is a historical event and very meaningful for many blacks in this country who may want to read/hear about the event from the perspective of a black journalist who is present at the inauguration.

Michelle Obama and black obesity

Anyone who thinks black obesity isn't a major social problem has never tried to find a seat on the DC subway system.

Deborah Solomon regarding media bias

January 14, 2009

Since I became involved with politics, for the past several years, I have come to realize how much bias there truly is in the media and press. I don't believe the bias is as much about race as it is about political ideology. It is my opinion that people would be shocked if they realized how much corruption, suspicious deaths, break-ins et cetera the media and press overlooks as long as the particular person or people get elected that they desired to be in office. I have seen time and again people willing to not conduct thorough investigations in light of the fact that suspicious deaths or corruption may very well have taken place because of political association. The real truth is many people don't get involved and investigate or demand investigations because they fear for their own safety and the safety of people closely associated with them or they honestly don't care if people were elected to their public office honorably or not, just so long as the people they wanted in office got elected. There is a newspaper in Springfield, MO as well as the media that refuses to investigate or call for further investigations into a very suspicious death, Scott Jett, died in a fatal crash September 14, 2009. I honestly don't believe they want the public to know the truth. A young man by the name of Landen Reimer was found dead in his bed, October 20, 2009, the Albany, NY police department claims they still don't have the results of the test to show if a foreign substance stopped his heart. Then there are also the suspicious deaths of Jean Byers, John Teuber, Pfc. Brian Bradbury, Bertha Selden and possible foul play in the near death of Mark Selden. Truth be told much of the media does not care if people are elected by illegal, unethical or corrupt means. May God return the nation to a true democracy where the people strive to see that people elected to public office are elected honorably. If the media was truly concerned about maintaining an honorable government they would demand that the FBI release their findings about these suspicious deaths to the public.
