He should be put in jail and all the IRS personal who gave him and so should Timothy Franz Geithner. They are tax cheats.

I wrote earlier and it also occurs to me the bickering between the political parties are along way from bi-partisan. The real issue with the health care debate is who is the biggest dog in the fight not what is best for society. Health care is important but 500,000 people loosing their jobs each month is I think an even bigger issue!! You can not ignore the fact that people out of work do not pay taxes and sooner than later we are going to have to start a strrp climb paying off the trillion upon trillions debt, we can do it but someone needs to start handling this like a corporate problem and solving it through logical efforts. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I learned a long time ago that common sense is not very common, and you can not make a great omelet with out cracking a few eggs. We the American people have to rise above all the news media that is thrown at us an decide for ourselves how to fix our problems we can not rely on a few hundred greed driven, self motivated politicians to control our destiny.It has been a wonderful thing to have a nation of freedom but I more and more feel that is lost and yet I ask myself why? Elections were once an opportunity to better our countries course but I find very few that I trust in our effort to become a strong and looked up to nation by our fellow piers.It is sad that when I see the efforts of senators and congressmen of the republican and democrat party try to discuss matters it is a bold statement that the issues are irrelevant, they just plain hate each other and that is sad. When this could have effect Congressional races you were mute now when it's just a Chairmanship you can now tell the people. You and your political ads (sorry coverage) is some what one sided.

Great article. But, I think you need to change the title to Charles Rangel IS a Tax Cheat. Ironic how those like Rangel who vote to raise taxes never pay them. A good follow-up article could be on the 4 million dollar vacation house Joe 'man of the people' Biden rented for Thanksgiving.

How do voters keep voting for this guy? It just shows how crooked politics are these days. Again, Congrss is trying to hide this under the rug, because he's a Democrat. Sad. This country deserves leaders, not the crap we have now or the crap that will be here on Jan 21.

I believe the Dem Freezer Guy has been re-elected to Congress. When the FBI tried to raid his office to collect evidence of his criminal activities, the courts decided his office was 'protected' by the separation of government provisions of the constitution.
Resign
Rangel should resign immediately. He is not "change you can believe in." He is a disgrace to the democrats and to the counrty.
