Bipartisan ?

Barney Franks bipartisan? What planet do you originate?

Franks Boy Friend at Fannie or Freddie Mac

I heard Barney had a serious boy friend for a few years who had a very significate role at Fannie or Freddy. Which one was it? What is his name? Did that influence Franks? He was against any over sight for these institutions. Raines walked away with $900 million dollars after 6 years. I'm sure he wouldn't mind giving that money back. He certainly didn't earn it.

Barney Frank & Pelosi

Or, in other terms . . Dumb and Dumber. The democratic party should remove both of these people. They're dishonest, cowardly, and they both lack the vision, the integrity and the substance to help America. Any who feel after viewing these links that our woes are the fault of Republicans doesn't want to take off their blinders.

This all should be out in the open for everyone before election day. They all should be in jail.

Fire Barney Frank from the committee. He shouldn't even be in the senate for running a prostitution ring.

There is plenty of blame to go around

Bush, as usual, didn't use his bully pulpit to let the public know the extend of the dangers. They did just enough cya to deflect blame to the dems. Having said that the Democrats bear most of the blame for the fannie/freddie crisis. Yes, the republican could have gotten the bill passed in the house in 2003, only to have it shot down by a Democrat fillabuster in the Senate (thank you Chris Dodd).

Barney Frank's repeated claims since 2003 that the Fannie & Freddie are doing okay should be enough to have him thrown off the House Banking Committee. Those who continue to support him are showing their true colors, party before country. Congressman Frank should be removed from any position of responsibility.

How did the Democrats kill Frannie & Freddie reforms?

How did the Democrats manage to kill Frannie and Freddie reforms in the face of a Republican President, a Republican Secretary of the Treasury, a Republican chair of the Financial Services Committee, a Republican majority on the Financial Service Committee, a Republican majority in the House, and a Republican majority in the Senate?

What strange and mysterious power defeated the good intentions of all those Republicans?

Was it the Masonic Conspiracy? The Tri-Lateral Commission? The United Nations? The Jews? The Illuminati?

Or perhaps this is just a Sam Dealey sillygism-- "It must be the other team's fault, therefore..."

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd

In other countries, these guys would be committing Supuku.

Democrats and Social Engineering

Simply put the Democrats in Congress, in an effort to do social engineering, shielded GSEs from any regulation. The name of the game was to expand home ownership at all cost. Greenspan warned of problems in 2004. What is real scary is that Obama wants to engage in the same type of social engineering. He wants to make the tax system “fair” by using it as a vehicle to redistribute wealth.
